On taptalk at the bottom left there is an arrow pointing up. Then you should get this screen.

Sometimes I can get a hit but most I can't. Even if I charge the battery on my nitecor 2.

Well I have tried a different pair of Batts, but not a different brand yet. Please advice. I have @8 mods and full sets of Batts for each.

For further info, I put the alien on the USB charger and it never reads anything, other than when I plug it in, the meters go 3/4 the way up and never returns past 0%. Also the unit and Batts are very hot

Just now , I got a full hot hit, even as it is set to 52 watts, and the gauges show 0. Any help please!!

Smok offers a 90 day warranty. I would suggest taking them up on that or, if the retailer will accept it for return, take that route. selling a malfunctioning mod isn't really something you should do.
