I got it from my cousin who purchased it from a smoke shop a few months ago and he upgraded and handed me his. It couldn't stay on a specific mode (watts, memory , or temp). While having this problem with it, it kept changing what it burned at and it got fired for .3 seconds on 220w, and after I can swap out tanks and coils and all specs rise as fire is activeactive and displays no warning but doesn't fire. It has an wonderful baby beast tank with a single mesh, but downfall to it is the seals don't quite fit properly on the tank.

Welcome aboard. I tend to agree with @Baditude. Sounds like a bad board. Since your cousin had it for a few months, it's not likely you'll be able to warranty it. The good news is that you can find a replacement mod for $30 - $60. Have fun shopping, but look at something other than Smok, Ebay or Vaporfi.

I have a SMOK Alien 220W that still works fine, AFAIK. It got initial use for a while and has resided in a closet for a year or two. SMOK mods are hit and miss according to reports from those who own them. Some work fine and others fail in a hurry. QC and design are obvious factors.

I've owned two SMOK mods. One is still working. The other one started to fall apart mechanically and the electronics finally failed within about 3 months.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Sorry to hear about your loss. Nice to know you like the tank with poor seals. Might want to take the tank and bad seals to a gasket or O-ring store and see if they have replacements.
Could fill in your location, it may have help you in obtaining location specific information to your seal question.
On the top right hand corner of this post you will find --"your name" next to "Inbox and Alerts"
Place the mouse pointer on your name. You will get a drop down and on the left hand side of this drop down you will find "Personal Details". Click Personal Details.
In Personal Details, in middle of screen in gray, you will find "Location" Could fill that box line in.

I bought Smok early on and everything works fine. I couldn't taste the juice until I got the Prince tank. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I made the switch to Vaporesso after reading all the negative posts about SMOK. I'm glad I did since I really like all the Vaporesso products I've bought. Good clouds and great taste from all of them.
