If it was a mistake on Porphy's part, I truly think it was an honest mistake. Based on everything I've read he's got a great reputation.

I think that the Boba's normally has a dark chocolate/coffee/tobacco flavor, normally. But there is definitely a bit of a spicy kick to it. And it is definitely a deep reddish brown and really thick. But the normal Boba's seems to be one of those flavors that strikes people very differently. I really love it, but some just don't seem to like it.
This was the first time that I had tried the Havana, so I didn't really know what to expect. But have you noticed any similarities in flavor with this juice and the Johnson County juices? It reminds me a lot of Tennessee Cured. Don't get me wrong, I'm groovin' on it, it's just the first juice from another vendor that has tasted like a J.C. juice to me. Maybe all of this vaping has short ciruited my tongue. I'm guessing some bourbon might fix that...
I haven't tried the Strawberry, but I plan to as I've heard consistently good things about it. It took me awhile to get into the root beer as it initially had an off aftertaste. But after it aged a few weeks that problem seems to have greatly lessened. However, I have noticed that the root beer juice flavor takes a while to burn off the atty.
I received a email from alien Visions about my 24 mg Boba's Complaint. As I stated in another posting in this thread, the 24mg was totally diff in Flavor, color, texture, and throat hit. They told me I was shipped Extra low instead of Extra High mg. New bottles are in the mail. I am more relieved knowing that the Boba's I love hasn't left this world with the Aliens.
I also received two new flavors, Toffee.Camel. Both are very good.I'll do a review on them in a week or so, after spending some quality time with the two. As far as the mistake in shipping. ALL sellers make errors, its how and how fast they remedy the complaint that makes a company. I think AV has what it takes. Will keep you posted.

I TOTALLY agree. I just recorded a vid and I said the same thing about it. It tastes a lot like Tennessee cured. Good stuff.

LOL. I completely agree and was likewise relieved when hearing from AVE. I seem to be the odd one here that uses 18mg and not 24mg. But, the 18mg was also a bit off -- very thin and the flavor seems like it's missing something from my first Boba order. I fully believe that the QC at AVE will improve when Ben gets stateside. He's been a pleasure to deal with and when the product is right it is out of this world good, so he gets the benefit of the doubt in my book.
ATM, I am mixing the new Boba with AVE's Flue cured -- it's not real Boba but it's okay -- I mean, if anybody else is having Boba withdrawal. <g>
I also made my first order with AV and had the same problem. I contacted Ben and he got right back to me. It was an issue with the supplier getting confused with the new labels they are using. Like others have stated every supplier makes mistakes but it is the supplier that admits and corrects there error that is truly one to hold onto to I even tried to get Ben to send me some type of invoice because I felt bad just taking 2 new bottles but he insisted that it was an error on their part and not to worry.
So I have 2 bottles of 6mg RY4 and Bobas Bounty that have flavor but no kick. I did see some suppliers selling 46mg and 60mg 30ml bottles. I have never really experienced dyi but do you think getting one of these and adding a little to them would help salvage it somewhat?
On another note my Root Beer and Gamel both came correct and I love these juices. The amount of vapor is the best I have ever had from a juice and the flavor is exactly what it says on the bottle.
Root Beer 18mg actually tastes like you are sucking on a root beer barrel candy....love it and great throat hit even even at the 18mg mark because 24mg was sold out. Anyone who loves root beer try this one and you won't ever need another one.
Gamel 24mg not a strong kick but if you like a smooth and mellow type of vape this is definitely one for you. I honestly got a bit more throat hit from the Root Beer 18mg but that might have to do with the Root Beer flavoring itself. So when you don't want that strong flavor and want just a smooth, mellow and mild type of vape the Gamel is a great filler. It is also the closest I have gotten to feeling like I am actually filling my need for a real cig.

Just figured I should mention that I also received an email response regarding my order mix up (Boba's Bounty in XL, rather than 24mg). I hope that was the reason it tastes so off. Anyway, I love every other Alien Vision juice I've tried and they seem to be a stand up company. It was nice to get the response, which was basically not to worry and to expect the correct juice in the mail!
Man, I'm so excited to get my order! I can't wait to try these flavors out. If they're as good as everyone is saying, AV may be my sole juice supplier from now on!

I just ordered the butter rum (0 nic), so I'll let you know how I like it when it gets here in a few days. I LOVE most of the flavors I have tried from AVE worlds better than most of the other VG juices I have tasted.
Got the 555 and Blueberry -- Not sure...really do not like it. I will give them some time though.

Ok I've been drip vaping Boba's Bounty for 4 days now. Almost half the bottle is gone so I guess that means I like it. lol
I've heard some ppl say it's sweet. This is what my taste buds say:
When drawing in you get a sweet cereal malt grain taste. It is the same taste I get from Camel flaver e-liquids. But you also get another taste that gives it a cigarette paper smoke feel.
On the exhale the smoke taste dominates and has a lemon weak bitter taste like tea or hops.
Maybe a German Bock Beer? One thing for sure, it is sublime when vaping at 5v.

so far the blueberry from all of the different places I have tried has been my least favorite, but I have to say that the strawberry and caramel from AVE are my absolute favorites. I hope the butter rum is as good as the others, I use to love eating those butter rum life saver candies when I was younger. MMMMM
