The problem for me is that I don't have just one.
I would pick a wooden PV, just because I like wooden boxes.

How about if I pick two:
The Monkeyboxx is made to your specifications and at a very reasonable price. ($110 shipped)
Fonosmoak has a unique feed system, & makes the Phidias using the Golden Ratio. ($145-165 shipped)

I chose to have all 3 like I do, and back up on those 3 with extras,,, each one has its place in my daily and weekly rotation,
VV Ali'i both of them stay in the house, one next to my favorite chair, one on my bedroom end table, what a great mod to own, I'm glad I have two, run a reg ohm Atty around 4.6 on this PV, also sometimes a 2ohm 510 or 801 can't beat it. My Reo Grand, such a strong Mod, strong as a German tank, take it with me when I go out, fishing on the boat building a house, just about everywhere I go outside, plus its all mechanical, never breaks and if it does very easy to fix, like running a Cisco or Iken 2ohm 510 on this Mod. Phidias is an all around super PV, I'm thinking of buying another, just had fono make my original birds eye maple into a feeder and update it, he said it is the only one like it, wont ever sell this one, now want one of his newer updated models, trying to decide which species of wood I want, also hardest hitting 3.7 Box on the market IMHO !!!
Thats my take on all 3 in as short as I can keep it, all 3 are super mods

Almighty, you remember when I did and honest review on the Monkey box, TomB blew his stack on me but now ends up making every improvement I ever mentioned,(Except spring) not saying I know it all or anything here or bragging but you know I was fair on that review, now he is doing nicer cleaner work, but he didn't take to constructive criticism to well, I wished he would have, never the less his newer VV Box does look nice, but his older box was a bit rough around the edges, I still say that jumbo spring is a safety issue and if a batt ever heats up that spring will not collapse in time and you will have a BOOM on your hands. Just my thoughts on that PV and like I said the new VV is a big improvement, still think he should swap springs though, has he ???

Is it a pain having to turn the phidias upside down. Thats the only thing i dont get because the other ones you have to squeeze a bottle i think

If you mod a different type of bottle, needle feed, you dont have to turn upside down, there is also a way to go with wall tube to make it feed too without turning upside down.

Once you have it in your hands, you can get the feel for the feed system rather quickly.
It has a needle that feeds the atty through gravity. Turn it upside down, press the button for a couple of seconds, small drops will fall into the atty...that's it. The feed system becomes second nature with a little practice.

Do you have to turn the reowoodvil upside down also? To get the juice to feed like the phidias?

No need to turn any Reo upside down, I chose to go with the Reos when I first started looking at mods for the durability. since then, I am very happy with my choice. My Reo Grand is a tank, It has been dropped, nocked off the table, went flying in my truck when I slammed on the brakes, and I just picked it up and continued vaping.

it's no big deal at all :) I call it the "Phiddy Swing" ..... just let it swing down, press the button for a sec or two, flip it back up ... one handed .... no biggie .. LOL matter of fact .... I kinda like it :)
I own 3 (so far), if that tells ya anything :) I also have 1 wood REO, and 1 3.7 Ali'i ......

I have owned Reos since they were first made available and never ever had a door fall out. Maybe a mini or grand but never a wood REO. No waiting list. Just be lucky enough when 90 are up for sale you get one within the first hour or your SOL.
