Today is a snowy day.... I decided to clean all my attys.. Soaked in vodka over night and then applied the hotwater dry burn atty resurection method...

Funny enough I have some LR attys and some regular ones... After the dry burn, some attys will never get red hot regardless of how long I can hold the power on... I was even willing to sacrifice one and I held the button for a good 2 minutes... I hear sizzling, but not red hot whatsoever...

Does that mean I should chuck those ? They are all from same supplier... 50% do not get red hot...

Any tips ?:?:

Don't chuck them until you've tested them to see if they still work. Sometimes you can't see the glow and they still work fine.

You may have waited to long before cleaning them, making the build-up so heavy it won't burn off. If that is the case, you may try soaking again and see if some of the deposits will come off. Make sure they are very dry before attemping to dry burn again.

@Nightseer Thanks for the tip! I don't have one on hand, but shouldn't be too hard to find an old one somewhere, so I'll give that a try when I do.

I haven't been having the greatest success, though. My one atomizer I've tried to clean twice. I let soak overnight in vodka, rinsed it out with hot water, then dried it before adding a few drops of e-liquid, and I still can't get it to produce hardly any vapor. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if it's just dead, but I've only been using it for like a week before it started to fail.
