Thanks for the perspective! :)

I wouldn't try to press that post down. David uses something like 1000lb press for those. If anything, send him an email at: supertmanufacturing@yahoo.com explain your situation and I'm sure David will come up with a remarkable solution for you. Cheers!

Another option: appreciate it from the perspective of wabi-sabi and think of the happiness your relationship has brought you every time you notice the nick. :)

I really like the Simplicity. The button travels quite easily and nicely, and it doesn't show fingerprints, dirt, or anything else. It does seem to gap with about everything I put on top of it. The 510 connection looks press-fit and could probably be pushed down, but I haven't tried to do so yet.

I don't think it's end user advised to mess with the center post. You can send it in to Super-T and they can adjust it for you.

You doubt my ability to output 1000lb of pressure with my bare hands? Bro, do you even lift?!

Lol, J/K - thanks for the info and advice, guys!

e-mailed the kind folks over at supert and there is no solution to the unsightly gap. breaks my heart but looks like the simplicity is gone.

hope the rest of you folks enjoy it, however.

The center post on the Simplicity is the same fixed, solid, no leak design that we use on the Precise/PrecisePlus line for over three years and we've never had a failure with that design. We don't want to get away from that sort of reliability on the Simplicity, so you will have a small gap as you do on some of the PrecisePlus's depending on what tank/rba you have on there. Some rebuildables do have an adjustable post that allows for adjustment and you can adjust them down. Not to mention, we will be making our own completely integrated feeder/rba for the Simplicity down the road.

Got mine today, topping up the charge on my batteries now and will have pics later :)

I'm thinking a GP Spheroid would look really good on this too. I'm hopefully picking one up this week.
That's my thought, too. I was lucky enough to score one from the classies, probably have it end of the week or early next week (depending on customs)

If you're gonna keep teasing me like this you really need to make me a beta tester to make up for it :p

You guys are killin" me. My gear has to make an extra trip once it's delivered to my mailing address in Texas. I live in San Miguel Mexico and I use a cross border delivery service to get my vapemail down here. And no tracking so it's always a mystery as to when it will arrive. Usually an extra week to get it here, and an extra 17% for the Mexican government for taxes and fees.....needless to say I'm always the one going to pick up the mail! :mail:

My Simplicity was delivered to Texas last Friday so hopefully I'll have it by the end of the week!

The "ribbed" finish is the same (or very similar) as on the telescope tube of the ELA and feels really good in the hand

David, any thoughts about also offering a simplicity 14650 tube option as well?

PLEASE don't make me add another battery size to my collection LOL

definitely nice to have that option tho. i think the simplicity line is more likely to expand into the bigger sized batteries like 16xxx and or 18xxx, instead of having a variation of the 14xxx. but i'm not david so i really wouldn't know his plans.
