I'll worry about cleaning out the cabinet later :D in the meantime.... I dug out 4 AW IMR 14500 from said cabinet and I can't for the life of me think of which mod I used them in!

Yeah, I was just stalling seeing how long I could hold out. It'll happen later tonight (don't want the gf to see me whip out the credit card and then ask why)

EDIT: aaaaaand, order placed :)

Congrats from a fellow therapist. At least nowadays you find out right away if you passed...I took mine on a scantron and had to wait about a month for the results.

Got my simplicity too. Always wanted a Super-T.... didn't like the design of the older precises, and the ELA was too chunky for me (don't bite me) but the simplicity was just right. Plus, if you're getting a 14500, you're taking it around with you and you want to be able to rely on the company you get it from for repairs, etc.

Any recommendations for RBA's for the simplicity? Leaning towards a Temon(d16) or a Spheroid. Don't want an arrow, penelope, or mini-b. Are there any choices that I left out?

You and those 0.8 ohm coils... Do they really kickass? I need to try one someday...

Its the closest to "smoke" I've gotten in vaping to date. 10mg juice giving mondo TH!

I just talked to the folks at Avid vapor..... I asked if there was a way to get a custom HH357 atty built with a Sub ohm 0.8 coil...
Here is their response:
Message:

Hi Derek,

We do have .8ohm coils in stock that we can use to build one for you. If you decide to make an order just choose any resistance on the customs page and add an order note to build with a .8ohm coil.
Best Regards, Jessica

I need advice.... if im going to let them build me a Sub ohm coil is 0.8 ohm the ideal setup? I really want to try one in this small form factor as dripping is all I do........ 10 watts is where I vape at but it might be fun to kick it up!

I just calculate what the vaping wattage would be during the course of a battery's charge. 0.8 ohm coil will sit around 22W when fully charged and then go down to about 12W when its time to charge the battery again.

EDIT: The theory is, that the difference in vaping from 22W to 12W, is not nearly as noticeable as a 1.5'ish coil starting at around 12W down to 6W. Comprende?

Thanks Nach... Im going to order one to try out.... Since it will be on a Shockwave it should hold a high voltage for a long time...
I do spend alot of money on the HH357s... I know alot of people who swear HHs last for months on end, and yes they can, but after after several weeks performance and flavor suffer, there is nothing like a fresh coil as you know.. I use to milk them out, I can tell when they are losing it, usually at 3-4 weeks-- then I toss em.. I want the best vape possible, for me $25 every month is a fair trade off for a atty that is powerful in a small package.
I love the 510 long barrel atty-- from its looks to its small size...
One day I will find a RDA I can live with, but its got to be small and AVAILABLE for purchase!

Question.... are you not dry burning your coils to clean them? I have an old HH sitting here that's probably over a year old.
