I don't know man... if you're about to throw away a $25 atty, why not dry burn it and try it out lol? I think the only drawback to the HH is that tiny piece of wick inside the coil, if only you could easily replace that little piece after dry burning, it would be perfect. I've dry burned this HH357 here many many times (also pulled out that wick) and it vapes just fine. Its that piece of wick that gets nasty, not the coil.

In other news... on my genesis atties, a wick lasts me 5-6 months, and my coils last me around 5 weeks. When I do the math and compare my results with yours... Nach is winning! :D

I know its an expensive way to vape... But the look and compact size is what I love about tratitional HH357 510 long barrel attys ... plus their great for dripping... So you say your RBA coils last 5 weeks...I can get that also. I say 3-4 weeks so people dont expect more, every ones mileage varys abit... Belive me I have dry burned them when they get old...Yes they do still work at that point...BUT ITS NOT LIKE A FRESH COIL.... As a coil ages the flavor gets lost and performance is just not the same.Theres nothing like a new one thats been broken in for a couple of hours...then you get 2 weeks of great vaping followed by 1-2 good weeks.... With the amount of money I use to spend on real cigarettes a month... $25 atty plus $25 of juice=$50 a month... Thats cheap in my book...
My wicks dont get that dirty because I use unflavored, less stuff in the juice to gunk up... And blowing then clear 1-2 times a day makes a big difference........... One day David will make a RDA, but until then I stand firm.. Like I said all I do is drip, now that the real winning edge when it comes to vaping...Drip drip drip:vapor::vapor::vapor:

And one more thing why Im fired up... I ordered a HH 0.8 ohm just so I can try one... might be a juice hog.. I will have to keep it nice and wet....
I tell you a 3.0 ohm atty at high voltage 5.5-6.0 volts is going to be hard to beat... I will let give you a report as soon as I get it...takes about 2 weeks on the custom HHs by then my ELA should arrive...

Picked mine up from the post office on my way out of town for the day. The button/locking ring are outstanding! My quest for a small quality travel APV is now over! I'll be ordering some more 14500's when I get home tomorrow. :D

i got mine! aga-s fits perfectly on it (exact diameter)!!!

however i have to get another aga-s now which i should have done before. since the simplicity's post is raised .005 higher than other P+ mods, if i fully lock down my only aga-s (so there's no gap), it pushes the connector pin(?) of the aga, so when i move my aga-s back to my P+16, it won't fire. i would have to readjust the pin so it connects with the P+16.

regardless, the simplicity is a REALLY nice 14500 mod. i love it! i am also loving the 'finish'. the texture pretty much makes it so that it should never slip out of your hand.

i have to say, it's another winner in my book :D

Beautiful pics everyone, thanks! Don't be afraid to take some Mothers (or the like) polish to the body and brass, they'll shine up like a jewel!

hi david! first off, thank you for another amazing mod! i love it! secondly, i noticed a slight blemish on the tube of mine. the only reason i saw it was the light hit it a certain way and it just 'gleamed' at me. i thought it was maybe metallic flake or something but i tried wiping it and well it's not... it looks like a 'kink' or i dunno what to call it... maybe a 'cut' into the texture part? here's a pic:

you can zoom in and it's around near the lower part of the barrel, 'parallel' with the ring finger. it's not exactly a big deal (even though it might bother me from time to time since i know it's there LOL), but say if someone wanted to get theirs refinish, from a similar blemish or something 'deeper', would that be possible without affecting the grooved texture?

again thank you and hurry up with the RBAs! haha

So I have maybe an issue of sorts with mine. The button has a bump on the bottom from where the hole for the screw was drilled so it wobbles and falls pretty much constantly. Assuming that's an error? I'd like to be able to use my arrow but I fear for the glass if I set it down, the penelope has taken a beating.

Take a little mothers and a polish cloth to it and work it for awhile, you'll see it gradually go away. These bodies are not finished in anyway by us (other then to deburr them when they come off the machine) so they are just taken off the machine, deburred and assembled so you may see slight imperfections from time to time.

thanks! that's what i was thinking... i mean it gives it character anyway plus it's not like i'm gonna totally baby this thing so i know nicks and whatnot will arise down the road (even tho i do take excellent care of all my belongings).

again thank you! i'm just glad delivery came on my bday LOL. appreciate yours and your crew's work :)

30 second fix: what that nub is a cutoff nib on the lathe when it cuts the part off. Take a approximately 400 grit piece of sandpaper, lay it flat and pull the button along it with the face down, You'll get a nice cross hatch finish on the button to boot. I can do up a quick demo video if you'd like on monday, its painfully easy.
