30 second fix: what that nub is a cutoff nib on the lathe when it cuts the part off. Take a approximately 400 grit piece of sandpaper, lay it flat and pull the button along it with the face down, You'll get a nice cross hatch finish on the button to boot. I can do up a quick demo video if you'd like on monday, its painfully easy.

I'll put the dremel away and I'll give it a whirl

Im looking at all the existing buttons and the nubs are so minor theyre almost inperceptible and shouldn't be causing it to constantly fall over, could you post up a pic of it so i can see what exactly you are referring to to make sure we are on the same page and get your problem resolved, maybe you have a defective button all together?

Got mine today, and I really like it. I did replace the spring so that it would not fire when standing upright. The locking ring is great, but it is still too much of a pita to do one handed (which I am). The finish is different. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I'll have to vape it for a while, but I think that I will get use to it.

For those of you who have your 14500's thanks for the pics! If any of you have a Euforia could you please post a picture of it on your Simplicity. I know it's 17mm vs. the Simplicity's 16mm but I'd like to see how it looks before I possibly order the Euforia. I love my Terminator tanks and like the idea of a mini one for out and about with the simplicity. Thanks!!

Looks like its ribbed, sort of interesting... Im sure you will grow to like it, even though David did spoil us with the P+ hand finishes we have grown to love...

I guess I better hurry and get mine ordered since it has the snork seal of approval!
A person shouldn't really go by my seal, I'd give it to a turd if it came from Super-T. But seriously, it's unique. Not going to have that finish on anything else for sure, and it's mystifying how it's done. The button and lock are cool, you can turn them both (you don't have to grab just the ring) to lock and unlock it. All threads and action are smooth as silk.

The finish is seriously awesome in person. It looks cool and feels, I don't know the right word but "soft"

I admit, I really like it. I haven't seen anything like it before on other PV's. It kind of seems like the next logical step from a durability perspective from a satin finish. I hope this finish is available on other Super-T products down the road.

I'm curious to see how these look fully polished up.

David - how would this finish react with media blasting?
