The AW P14500 with 1.5 ohm resistance can run all day. Ive load tested them higher then that with a continuous load and temps even level off(my load tester also maps temperature of the battery during the test)
I've been thinking about this. You did have a stupid atomizer named after you, correct? That's not a car! That's some sort of ecigarette. What you think I'm stupid?

Why, yes I am!What, are you stupid?
They're hard to find, but they exist. I've had 4 ohm attys and cartos and even 5 ohm cartos, but they were strictly for high voltage vaping and you couldn't even tell if they were firing at 3.7
I could be wrong on this, but typically with published battery specs the discharge rate listed is for continuous discharge, not momentary bursts like vaping use. Sometimes I see both a constant and burst discharge rating on published specs, but I haven't seen that for the 14500s anywhere
Personally, I'd recommend the IMR batteries, anyway. Yeah, they're less capacity, but they can handle more amp draw and will suffer less voltage drop in higher drain situations.

First, I want to congratulate you on what appears to be a beautiful piece of machining. You deserve a lot of credit for a great design and fine workmanship. Im eagerly awaiting the arrival of my Simplicity.
Now, if the specs that Ive seen are accurate, then running such a low resistance may overly stress the battery, which could end really badly.
Based upon the specs that Ive seen for the two different batteries, it appears that the AW IMR 14500 is the safer choice, especially for lower resistance applications. So, I think that thats what Ill personally be using with my Simplicity.
Does the Kicklet work with the Simplicity? It may look top heavy when attached, but besides that, are there any known incompatibilities with the Simplicity?
Thanks.
The Simplicity and Kiklet will fire an atomizer, for how long is the question.
It looks like this -

Thanks for the pic snork! That actually looks a lot better than I thought it would.
Now I’m wondering what the creative minds at Super-T would come up with, if they decided to design a Kicklet specifically for the Simplicity. There could be a good business opportunity for them there…
Just got the Euforia to put on my Simplicity, it fits great and works very well with a 1.3 ohm coil and 3mm wick...hopefully my extra 14500 batteries arrive soon, I find myself using this more than expected....
The kick/crown has the same diameter as an 18XXX series battery so there is no way to make a Kicklet slimmer....
If it's like a Penelope, make sure the ceramic housing is screwed in very tight in the base (and pray you're able to unscrew it in the future) and see that the nut holding the ceramic in is tight too (but try not to crack the ceramic). This sucks, I just got my Euforia a couple days ago and it just leaks from the 510 connector. Only reason I bought it was for my simplicity![]()
I got Simplicity a few days ago and so happy with build quality and performance but I just have this big worry in my head and cannot solve.
There is a hidden vent holes on bottom of tube and have slits with switch. I get it but since vent holes are under o-ring, battery will prevent air path from top upper area. I believe IMR battery has proof valve on top so gas will try to escape from positive side in case goes wrong. Since top cap has no air path so positive area will be almost complete sealed chamber to be explode.
Venting will work if I tried to blow from the top of the tube without battery but it won't if I have battery in. If I insert my battery positive down then I can blow air from the bottom because battery nipple will raise battery it self to keep the air way. however there is a space between top cap and battery so I can feel battery rattle inside.
Am I crazy? Can anyone confirm there is no air venting above o-ring?
Also, hidden gas vent will not work if you lock the brass ring...
