Hey guys! Going through the same thing. Started vaping about 3 weeks ago with no problems. Over the weekend, I began experiencing severe itching on my lower legs and hives, along with a mild headache. Hives disappear overnight and return in a different area the next day. Vaping 100% VG from Virgin Vapor, so I know that it's not PG. Not allergic to anything that I know of. I really don't want to go back to analogs.

Just curious Kris as to how long (how many pack a day for how many years?) were you smoking analogs before you quit them and started vaping 3 weeks ago?

really sounds like it may be the nicotine it is really the only thing common to both AFAIK. I would look for something else causing it .... anything that may be new in your life including cleaning products personal products clothing food furniture some one around you with new personal products. anything at all could be the cause even things you have used in the past but may be "new & improved"

My first thoughts were the flavourings that were the problem, Then I thought again, PG allergy maybe, PG is in a lot of everyday items like toothpaste and mouthwash, maybe you set off an allergic reaction when you first used PG and when you went back to analogues using a small amount such as is in toothpaste is still affecting you... Worth checking your supplies to see what has PG in it, then try leaving that alone for a couple of days see if the hives settle down.

So true! We can develop sudden allergies to things we ingest that weren't a problem before, then suddenly BAM! allergic symptoms such as hives can start! (Opposite is true too, however, that we can now use products that we used to be allergic too and are now immune etc.)
It sounds like you will have a long drawn out process of elimination! Good luck!

Time for an update......

First of all, thanks to everyone for their thoughts, ideas and encouragement. Much appreciated! Special thanks to Alan and Sharon at eJuiceMonkeys for their innovative thoughts!

48 hours plus on 18mg, unflavored VG with no problems. Still not completely convinced it's a PG issue, but still waiting on a referral ok for an Allergist from my health insurer.:( Also, no analogs in that time period! A positive to be sure!

Will stay the course and see what happens. Film at eleven.:)

Again, thanks for the thoughts and support!
