I think I need a nicotine testing kit. I"m curious to see if the nic levels are close to what I think I"m vaping. Do you find the nic testing kits to be pretty accurate?

Yes extremely accurate. I've ordered from: RTSVapes, Electronic Cigarette, Clearomizer, USA e-Liquid, e-Cig Juice, DIY Flavors, Wholesale Nicotine, Empty Bottles for E-Liquid - ecigExpress, Wizard Labs, a place up here and another Vendor outside of N. America. All have tested to be as advertised. Since the BE fiasco many Vendors realize the danger, from a biz/ integrity sense, of sloppy mixing practices and most now have top rate mixing facilities staffed by responsible focused employees. Gone are the days whereby the owner and an employee would spend the weekend mixing juice in the kitchen. I'm now fortunate enough to have a Lab mixing and testing the juice pro bono and all Flavorless Nic Juice has been exact in the area of Nicotine level...the staff have been very impressed with the quality and accuracy of the product.
You could buy everything individually or buy from this ECF members website. Lots of great info, videos and everything is reasonably priced:

Best of Luck.

If a vendor cannot tell you EXACTLY what is in the liquid, find another vendor. If you are having medical problems, they should be bending over backwards to help you out.
The vaping community is a pretty friendly bunch for the most part. Everyone I've dealt with in the industry has been extremely helpful.

Some small shops buy their liquid from someone else. Most good vendors make their own. (try Mt Baker Vapor, they are inexpensive and pretty damn good)
Some of the juice makers will add a variety of things to make their juice unique. There are throat-hit enhancers, flavor enhancers, sweeteners, etc.
You could very well be allergic to one of those items as well.

You can always go the DIY route to make sure you know what you are getting (and save a crapton of money in the process).
Wizard labs sells the PG and VG base in whatever strength of nicotine you want. Mix in your ratio with the flavoring of your choice.
