My wife's work has been encouraging to her. She was hesitant to bring it out. Her manager who smokes noticed and brought her back to the office and told her to whip it out. Everyone who smokes at her workplace is watching the results and seeing if it lasts for longer than a month. I think after the month ends the area where she works is going to see a rise in vaping with a decrease in smoking. She just went for a doctor's visit and the doctor wanted to hear about it. She has another visit in March and one of the requirements for the visit is to bring in more info so the office can recommend vaping to some of the hardcore visits. My employment just kinda did a whatever when I started. They didn't forbid it so I am vaping away when I need to.

Yes, we are allowed to at work (I work in a basement office with 8 other people - We do retail fixtures and graphics - I work in the engineering dept.)

We don't do it on the shop floor or if clients are around, however we even asked people who were non-smokers and they said it smelled like 'Cotton Candy' and were not bothered by it....so we vape away at our desks :)

The EH&S guy at my company made a point of telling me that it was perfectly all right to vape in my office, if I chose to do it. I don't, I still go outside - that's one of the things I like about smoking, is the breaks - but it's nice to know I can take a quick puff if I'm busy and can't take a break. I did several times yesterday, when things were nuts.

I vape at work, I try to be inconspicuous, but people notice and say nothing. Which is curious, I'm sure someone sometime will say something. At which time I am well educated and can promote it without doubt or guilt. Those that do know are supportive or are not bothered by it. I do run a fan at my desk which dissapates the vapor faster. My office is very open, low cube walls, high ceilings.

If they do ask that I go outside, I ok with that. I did it as a smoker and no quams about doing it again. Although I toke my PV more often than the once every two hour analog, so going outside would be more frequent... Maybe I could use that as an angle. So far there is at least two others that have tried it (jurys still out) and I am leaving business cards for others...

Spreading the word. Vape on!

I worked on a military installation in WA and no one had a problem with me vaping. Most that know me were happy for me that I quit smoking. Since I retired I know others that vape and use it on the post. What we need to do is use common sense and don't shine a light on our self as there is always somebody that will ultimately complain. Eight months and zero cigs.

Working in a VERY safety minded metals organization, in a cubicle hell AND in Utah you can imagine the stigma placed on me for being an analog smoker. I was one of only about 6 smokers in a building of 300 ppl. I converted to 'digital' this last weekend and have not looked back. Love every toot of my 510 I take (not to mention I get to do it INSIDE!!). So I had a chat with our safety manager today who is a good friend and has been trying to get me to quit for years. He had actually heard of them which was good and even made a comment on how I could even do it at my desk. Needless to say I about ...... myself when he mentioned it.

I told him I don't plan on vaping at my cube (we have no real walls anywhere) as I don't want to cause a scene or be 'that guy'. But wanted him to know that I did finally quit smoking. In the last 2 days, I've managed to take a few extra bathroom breaks to toot in the stall while playing games on my itouch :)

I can vape at work. I'm manager of a small software team. The 3 coders on my team and I all share a big room and none of them mind. One is a smoker who gave up on e-cigs and sold me his 510 gear when I started in with vaping. The boss doesn't care; he's just glad I'm off smokes.

I'll note that I do often go outside to do it though. It is familiar and comforting.

I loved it, today we had a staff meeting for the first time since I started vaping. Like I posted earlier I can vape in my office with no problem. So normally when we have these meetings I couldn't wait to get out of them to go smoke. Today myself and a co-worker I converted just pulled out our PV's and vaped during the meeting, it was great. I don't care how long those stupid meetings last now.
