For anybody facing resistance to vaping at work, you could try telling your supervisors that the PV is like a pacifier that completely makes cigarette cravings subside. Further explain that by not having to break for a cigarette, your productivity has increased and will continue to remain at that level, all while freeing you, AND THE COMPANY of cigarette related health concerns.

Good advice and if you are lucky you work for someone who is actual sain and listens. If not they will be a jerk just because they can. Some people care more about their ego's (not talking PV eGo's).

I have only been rousted by one cop at the Bar and he was really just trying to be a pain to the owners (about anything and everything). I explained what it was and that it wasn't illegal. He told me to take it outside anyway and I told him to bite me.

Finish the story, Brad. Just what did Barney Fife do?

I have been vaping at work since I started vaping. So on my shift there are two of us that vape. No one has told us to stop. However I do not know if the "big wigs" areaware of it. We work the midnight shift, and there is one other guy that vapes on the afternoon shift. Our company is classified as tobacco free. I hope we will be able to continue to vape, but not sure on it. I was caught, or rather the headof our department came in early one day and saw me. He asked what it was. I told himit was an electronic device. He did not seem upset, but said "Oh, it takes the place of a cigarette?' So until we aretold otherwise, we will continue to Vape-on.

I don't think it's really Tobacco so you should be safe. Nicotine is found in many places other than the tobacco plant. I wonder what it would take to make juice from eggplants?? Of course you could also do like others have and rebottle your liquids in a containter marked zero nic?

Huffed and puffed and tried to blow my house down.. Actually he gave me a Stern Warning and said he would contact me later. So a few weeks later (after no contact) I went down to the cop shop and vaped untill the Sheriff came out (I know him from High School) we had a laugh and he said he would explain what they were.

Ps. I'm a vet and a member of the local Sevicemens club and I played a gig there a few months back and a couple of cops were vaping. I think they were Kr8's but I didn't get a chance to ask. They stumbled out (probably drove away) before my set was over.

Nobody in my office objects to me vaping. I've become so comfortable with it that I started dripping and I'm thinking about bringing one of my PT's in. I'll still go outside if the weather is nice enough just so I can walk away from my computer, though.

I brought my Ego PT in to work, That way I can still disconnect and walk around when I need to.

My boss thinks it's great that I've stopped smoking. I can vape at work except on the sales floor in front of customers (retail location). Pretty much anyplace in the building outside of customer eyesight is ok. I've even got another co-worker to order an eGo and the boss wants to get one for his wife. :)

this is awesome. vaping at work is a great idea and i think smart companies would embrace it. smoke breaks CRUSH productivity.

a guy at my office vapes. in fact, it's how i found out about the whole thing. he started with a big orange e-cigar. you couldn't miss it. people at the office relate it to another electronic toy than a cigarette. so with people playing with ipods and cell phones in their cubes all day, so who cares if he's sucking on an electric pen that blows steam?

it's a call center-paper pushing type environment with about 50 people in cubes. i think that makes a difference. there's not really any visible exposure to the public or customers.

I am allowed to vape indoors here at work. My boss has no problem with it at all. Even says my office smells nice when he stops by... lol

Have already converted one co-worker (she had open heart surgery a few years back but still couldn't kick the habit). She ordered a Riva kit and some extra atty's from L-F and a couple bottles of liquid from Vaporbomb. :)

I work at the community center that belongs to our church. I'm allowed to vape in my office as long as I'm alone.

Several times, when I've vaped before a parishioner, business contact, or member of the surrounding town came into my office, they've remarked that my office always smells so "sweet and inviting," "nice, "fresh," and even "light and fruity."

I've even been able to tell a few people who have come into the office about PVs. They were struggling with giving up analogs and felt like they had tried everything else.

I'm allowed to vape in my office at work (I'm a civilian contractor in a Gov't Facility) with the boss's full support, BUT, he has asked that I be discreet, and keep it inside my office, or outside in the smoking area. They've actually been REALLY supportive of me quitting smoking here at work, and I couldn't ask for a better deal than I've got (which actually REALLY surprised me...I expected a LOT of grief over it!)

Not proud to say it but I work at McDonalds so I really can't vape in sight of customers for obvious reasons. My one manager knows about it and I just vape my entire shift when I get the chance. My other managers don't know about it. I'm kind of afraid to do it infront of my one manager because he is very closed minded and just tries to be an .... The kind that works too hard and criticizes everyone else for not working hard. But I chain vape in the break room all the time. I will normally take a hit or 2 when going to the stock room or freezer. But when I'm on the clock I don't really have much time to vape.

I don't vape at work because I work in a hospital. As of 12/31/10 our hospital became a smoke-free campus. One of my co-workers asked me if I had quit smoking and I told her yes but also shared that I use e-cigarettes. She knew of one friend who vapes but thought it was bogus. I told her she might want to consider it due to the smoke-free environment now. She works night shifts so she could get away with it more then me. She asked me for a link to buy one. I am not open about it in public or work but I do take every opportunity to share with people who might be interested...I hope it works for her like it did for me and many of us here :) Some people are just not ready to quit analogs but when one HAS too stay away from cigs for 12hr shift, they might do well with a quick vape session...and hopefully with that they will like vaping better and get away from analogs eventually...

Now if our hospital would only supply ecigs instead of trying to make everyone go cold turkey...thats tough...

I vape at work, all day long... I actually wish I couldn't because I over-indulge. Im a programmer and 2 other guys are in the room with me... I have converted one of them so far, hes got a 510 kit now. I do it so much they know my flavors... sometimes they make requests because it smells so good. I really vape too much though, I go through sometimes 3ml a day.
