Glad the cameras OK Hmmm, it is strange that they bumped up your insurance already (I wouldn't be happy about that either)!

I was really surprised! I half expected an increase on renewal next year, but seeing we already had the renewal quote due to start on June 10th, it never even crossed my mind that they'd do it now!

I have no idea what a distribution board is but at least the kettle was working

It's the box with all the switched fuses that distributes the electricity safely through your house - otherwise called a consumer unit I think. Took 5 hours but a few less than perfect sockets were fixed too, and everything tested. They did bring a generator, so it was a quick switch of plugs for computer and modem and everything worked fine all day including a kettle and the electricians tools.

I'm feeling much better today, been into town and took my little boy to the cafe for dinner (no cooking)! Then home for a nap

I'm trying the kona velvet tonight, only in small doses though! Wow that's strong, think I'm going to have to dilute it, might be OK if I get a craving. I've started getting fed up with that tribeca, it seemed extremely sweet today, I think it's more suited for occasional use.

I've been loading up the shopping cart again! Ordered OH another 30ml of caramel cappuccino from grizwald and I got 3 10ml bottles from grey haze, azteca blue cow (same as the strawberry milkshake but blueberry) azteca tropical typhoon and grey haze coconut. Got a couple different colour airflow controllers for my orieco storm and ordered 2 caravela mech mods (clones). Along with the focalecig and 2 fasttech orders we are now waiting on 7 lots of vapemail! Hope they all arrive for the weekend

Sounds like a lot of good stuff! Don't know about the Orieco and Caravela but you sound happy about them I'm not very adventurous with stuff like that

The orieco is fab, esp for the price. I've rebuilt it today and I'm trying CV blue bandit, It's quite nice (I don't think you liked it though), sure I can taste sassafras (hint of my root beer liquid). Either way I'm enjoying it but I'm getting too much nicotine!

We picked up the prescription so she's all set for 20 days, no idea where we will get the repeat from (we were told the GP won't prescribe it) hoping he will because it's a repeat but he wouldn't in January when she was originally supposed to start it.

I'm not bothered about the aniseed type flavours, I've just tried to look what the green eyed monster is but the site is closed. What flavour type is it?

I'm glad it's Friday tomorrow, seems to have been a long week, and it's bank holiday

The Honey Lemon Menthol has really grown on me and I've just emptied the bottle - haven't had it long! I did order 30ml of it though, and that's on it's way. Using it with the MVP has made the light honey flavour in it even lighter, so the lemon and menthol really stands out - I do like it! That and the Mint Choc Vapetto have been my most used this past week!

Yes, too much rain today! Our larger dog only got a short walk today - husband usually has her out for 45-60 minutes each morning.
I did plenty of indoor stuff like washing & cutting my hair, this n that etc.

This prescription thing is a disgrace! What's the point of a consultant/specialist issuing instructions for prescribing what a patient needs, and the GP taking it upon himself not to comply! Seems like defeating the object ...still, all thoughts you'll have had yourself - but it really does make me annoyed.

Going out for lunch tomorrow with eldest and his fiancée, but to be honest, it'll be good to get back and settle into my work as I think there'll be less interruptions over the weekend as the youngest is away for a few days and the eldest will be back at work. I can always concentrate better when I'm, pretty sure of being able to get on with it!

The site opened fine for me when I read your post earlier tonight - must have been a glitch. Green Eyed Monster is Kiwi and Apple ...not sure if I'll like it but I felt the same about the Honey Lemon Menthol!
My CV order is likely to arrive tomorrow seeing it didn't today, and it's bound to be while we're out! That of course means going to the main depot in the next town on Saturday morning! Not fun - still, better than if he left it with the man who lives opposite ..can't stand him; he's like a limpet and very nosy - hard to field his incessant questions!

I've had a quick try of my new flavours, the blue cow is nice, It's the exact same milkshake flavour but with blueberry instead of strawberry. The coconut doesn't taste like anything and the tropical typhoon has a little bit of aniseed, not much so I will use it but I'm a little disappointed as I thought it would be more of a fruity cocktail (should have learnt that with the martinique from trip hammer).

The honey one isn't for me (really dislike honey) mixed with lemon and menthol sounds like a locket and I don't like those either. The kiwi and apple sounds interesting, I was going to try a kiwi and strawberry one from liberty flights but never got around to it. The med isn't supposed to be swallowed, that's why the pharmacist freaked out and went to find the doc to check. It's got good results in a trial but there is still lots of research being done.

Hope the sun comes back for next week, it's half term We are all out for dinner tomorrow with my brother and dads wife. Hoping to take the kids on their first visit to the cinema on monday, postman pat! Lol. My daughter has another appointment on tuesday and my little boy got his letter for a place in nursery, so he will be having a few visits next term ready for starting in September!

I hope the postie calls today but I'm not really expecting him again until next week, unless he brings something boring like letters!

We were out for lunch yesterday and we all decided on the 8oz burger with local cheese, salad, real chips, 3 pots: blue cheese dressing, chutney (spicy caramelised onion type) and sweet corn relish - tasted nothing like sweet corn and was very good! It was a pretty huge meal! I followed that with black cherry frangipane and amaretto cream sorbet! A nice pot of tea to sit and relax with for a while before setting off for home!

Sadly, later last night and quite by chance I happened on an announcement that a distant but very good friend had died this past week. She was only 58 and I hadn't known she was ill. When she seemed to fall off the radar amongst my colleagues and myself last year, I'd assumed she was either busy with a new business she'd just set up or some disaster had happened - it never occurred to me that she was ill. She'd even moved hundreds of miles back to her family.
Funny how we don't get in touch in case we'd be intruding ..I'm wishing I had now.

Still, life throws these things at us. Definitely need the sun to shine!

Mine was good to me today with the 4 packages! I may find the MVP a big lump of a thing but they do work very well!
I liked the eSmart for something neat to takeout and about with me, but I've had three of the batteries fail now - one after a month and already replaced and the other two failed this past week. Perhaps there was a bad batch made. Or perhaps they aren't brilliant batteries! I have three more coming from FastTech too, but I have a fair number of the clearomisers for them, so perhaps just as well.

The strawberry one is nicer than the blueberry one, they do have quite a light flavour but I really like this one.

I've started taking my mvp2 out and about sometimes, it was only for at home when I first bought it. It didn't take long to get used to though and people can give all the funny looks they want, I don't have to worry about loosing charge and that's all that matters

I've been trying trip hammer's pink custard today, it does have a bit more flavour than some from there but it's not nearly as nice as the captain custard from steamgunk, which has been a favourite for us for quite a while now.

I retried the captain jack too, it does have quite a nice sweet tobacco flavour, I would only use it on odd occasions though. I've looked up the vape emporium's roasted virginia, it's a UK site and has been my favourite tobacco so far. I definitely want more of the leo liquids coconut crack but it looks like a small business in vagas, doubt they will ship over here but I will send a massage to their facebook page. Otherwise it will be 10x1ml samples from SR!

Thank you - she was a lovely person: strong yet sentimental, wise, & technically very clever. Lived in her house in Oregon on 12 acres of rough land with 2 small lakes on it (and in 2009 it didn't cost a fortune compared to here!) She set up her own print/photography business in the barn: a very professional set-up, and what must have been less than a year later, she had to leave it all to go back home. She had a wonderful dog too: giant Airedale who adored her. She got him as a puppy in 2011 and had been so excited about it.
She was thousands of miles away but I was rather fond of her. It's come as quite a shock and the past few days have been full of memories. She would have been (a very young) 59 on 31st.

Well I found some VG vanilla ice cream liquid today - at a US company Crystaleliquid. They do ship worldwide, but it's not cheap. I got it with double flavour though as I want it to add to the plain lime liquid I can get here, along with the coolant stuff ...then I'll have a lime ice cream float!

Those samples are certainly lasting you a while!

If you take in a few breaths and hold it in, you don't exhale any vapour. It's a little strange and takes a while to get used to, but I usually have one device or another glued to my hand and use it much more than I ever smoked (which was quite a lot).

I think we have about 10/12 samples left, wish I hadn't picked out quite so many coffee ones but it's definitely the best way to try them.

The only ones I've had from Cloud9 are the Johnson Creek Red Oak (VG) and they're hit and miss. I liked their Merango strawberry but it made me have problems!
Coffee seems to be a hard one to get right! I have the two from CV and they're good. If I want to up the flavour on them, I got a bottle of M&P coffee concentrates in Coffee Cream and the Keswick Coffee. Not tried them yet.

There was a post on my FB page from steamgunk, the guy who does their mixology is needing some time out (also works a full time job and has been unwell) so the liquid might be coming to an end, at least for a while :-( I've put my orders in and will hopefully stock up over the next week or two but their captain custard is my favourite....boohoo! Still, I hope it isn't serious, sounds like he's been working until 3am and definitely deserves a break.

How's the lime ice cream? I wouldn't mind trying a lime but I think I would prefer a sweet creamy mix so an ice cream type would be great. I've seen a key lime pie mentioned too but the only citrus y one I have is quite sharp and kinda put me off.

I've only tried one sample over the last couple of days (taste buds playing up), it was mt baker vaper moo juice, tasted very similar to the azteca fat cow but it was more cream and less strawberry. Did your milkshake arrive?

My poor little girl has been sick all day and had tummy pain, I think I'm going to have to restart her diet and just give her plain simple foods :-( Only starting the diet made her sick last time too, can't win!

Got my two orders from FastTech this past two days - first one had an error, so I'm hoping they put it right (sent bent drip tips instead of two eSmart batteries), but my second one was fine - included an eGo cTwist and an Evod 1100. Got some stands to keep everything in too - made my desk a lot neater! I also have some more Unitank mini on order.
It's great having two MVP's - keep my two favourites on them and it's far less re-charging!

I can certainly identify with that - was daylight when I got to bed last night ..or morning! I just can't concentrate properly during the day anymore. It's because there's been too many interruptions in the past year or so and it got so I couldn't settle to my work in case I got stopped! I must get things back to normal! It does catch up, and some nights I fall asleep while painting!

Cloud9 have been on a long awaited honeymoon to Italy, but should be open for business tomorrow.

I'm still waiting for the ice cream VG liquid to arrive from the US, shouldn't be long now. Then I'll be able to try making it! I have the koolada and the lime. You could make it though - get some lime liquid and some ice cream liquid and mix them together to suit your taste. I love the Twisted from CV, which is lime, pineapple, strawberry, ice cream and coolness. But, the pineapple and strawberry cause me a bit of a problem if not careful, so I thought to try making my own with just lime.
Seeing you can use PG, you'll be able to get some vanilla ice cream liquid.

Cloud9 came back online this evening so I've got my charger and a couple of bits ordered.

One of my steamgunk orders arrived today so I'm using their cinderilla, it's similar to the alchemist cupboard vanilla fudge...mild but tasty

I've still not ordered from spiritus yet, think I'm going to get an order in with CV next week but I also need more fat cow and I would like a bottle of the vamp vape. Oh and top secret (shhh), grants vanilla custard will be on sale on monday so I'm going to (hopefully) grab some of that too

We went to visit another vape shop today, they had some decent bits and pieces too, might call back next weekend.

I found a forum for my daughters diagnosis, unfortunately it seems we have a long way to go and it's looking like an elemental diet is the only way to go :-( no dairy, soya, wheat, fish, eggs or nuts and beef, corn and tomatoes seem to be common triggers too. Add to that her sensory issues (she can't eat fruit and most sweet things make her gag)...meal times are going to get extremely difficult! On top of that any other allergy (hayfever etc) triggers it too, so I'm all in a head spin. She's been sick again for an hour this morning with tummy pain all day :'(

It must be difficult working so late, sounds like you need a break to reset your body clock....Italy sounds nice! Lol

We took the kids to my nan's caravan in cleethorpes (exotic I know) for the last couple of years, we loved it there but she sold it last year. Not sure what we are doing this year but we will get looking soon

I lapsed for about 5 minutes 2 months ago. Was on a night out and was offered a cigarette. Took 2/3 puffs and put it out. Didn't like it, tasted/smelled horrible and I get more exhale out of my protanks!

As for juices, think I'll start a list of what I've bought so far and put them in my blog on here. Gosh there's so many choices! But it's what makes our hobby fun I guess!

Cloud9 came back online this evening so I've got my charger and a couple of bits ordered.

I still haven't heard anything further from FastTech. Perhaps tomorrow!

Cloud9 are sending me a replacement eSmart battery -one I bought on May 7th stopped charging and they just said to throw it away and they're sending another tomorrow Brilliant service!
I'm wondering if it's a common fault with these batteries as I had another go the same way a few weeks ago - both Kangertech stamped too and from good suppliers.

One of my steamgunk orders arrived today so I'm using their cinderilla, it's similar to the alchemist cupboard vanilla fudge...mild but tasty

I've still not ordered from spiritus yet, think I'm going to get an order in with CV next week but I also need more fat cow and I would like a bottle of the vamp vape. Oh and top secret (shhh), grants vanilla custard will be on sale on monday so I'm going to (hopefully) grab some of that too

We went to visit another vape shop today, they had some decent bits and pieces too, might call back next weekend.

I ordered some Fat Cow to try it, and although despatched supposedly on 23rd, it hasn't arrived yet, and I saw two days ago they were out of stock! They haven't replied to two emails either.

I work late and sleep late (10.30 I'm in here) so I'm really hoping to get some VG Grants tomorrow!
I have some calls to make about work matters when I get up, but I'll be trying the Grants page first!

I found a forum for my daughters diagnosis, unfortunately it seems we have a long way to go and it's looking like an elemental diet is the only way to go :-( no dairy, soya, wheat, fish, eggs or nuts and beef, corn and tomatoes seem to be common triggers too. Add to that her sensory issues (she can't eat fruit and most sweet things make her gag)...meal times are going to get extremely difficult! On top of that any other allergy (hayfever etc) triggers it too, so I'm all in a head spin. She's been sick again for an hour this morning with tummy pain all day :'(

So sorry to hear that - such a shame the new meds didn't work for her. That's a difficult diet for you to follow and her to live with.

It must be difficult working so late, sounds like you need a break to reset your body clock....Italy sounds nice! Lol

We took the kids to my nan's caravan in cleethorpes (exotic I know) for the last couple of years, we loved it there but she sold it last year. Not sure what we are doing this year but we will get looking soon

It can be hard working late, but at least it's peaceful and has no interruptions! I'm finding it pretty hard to concentrate at the best of times lately, so the less distraction the better!
We took our kids to a holiday camp a few times when they were small - had everything they needed whether it rained or not! Not an ideal holiday but it was better than nothing and they were never bored.
Sorry you lost your caravan holidays! Are there any nice ones to hire there?

Cloud9 really are fab, I was stalking their site to come back online and got my order in quick when it did. Checked my email this morning and found a discount code! I posted on their FB page (hoping maybe next time the codes would be sent out in time for the site reopening), they replied asking for my order number to see if they could do any thing

I've never had a problem with grey haze, I got my nemesis, orieco storm and some liquids from them, hope it's in the post for you tomorrow :-(

I've tried some virgin vapour hot butter rum tonight, oh I do like this one! It smells awful though. OH really didn't like it, guess it's a marmite flavour I think it taste like juicy fruit gum with a nice warmth to it, there is a slightly off taste in there too but I still love it. It's hard to tell with only 1ml, sometimes I loose interest after a tank or two but it's going on the reordered list!

Yes the diet will be difficult, I think that's why her doc mentioned the milkshakes. I think we start by stopping all food, then once her symptoms (hopefully) disappear we do food trials and test each food individually and see which 'safe' foods we can find.

I would love to go back to my nans old caravan site, we went a few times when we were younger too (she had it 20+ years). If we can find any one renting we will try and book but I won't book direct from the site, they're really over priced!

At one time, caravans and holiday flats were a very affordable option, but like everything, they've got quite expensive! We once had a lovely self catering flat in a big Victorian house in Ilfracombe when our two were small - very affordable and we had a great time

I've ordered another 30ml Mint Choc Vapetto, plus more of the concentrates from CV - not only will they make weaker or plainer ones I have more interesting, I also got a few different make strawberry ones to see which are the ones giving me problems ..some seem to have a worse effect than others, so I'll see if I can pinpoint which.
CV even have a page that shows roughly how much of each brand will be needed.
Pity they were out of stock of the key lime Mom & Pop one I wanted.

Nice that you can try so many different ones with those sample sizes!
The postal deliveries seem to be all over the place these days ..used to be so reliable and around the same time each morning - now it's anytime up to around 4pm! Plus, with both 1st and 2nd class not being guaranteed for 1 or 2 days, I can wait in all day and have nothing arrive!
Our usual postman said a few weeks back that he was being put on a different round ...and we haven't seen him for over a week, so perhaps he's gone! Shame, because even later in the day, he'd be here by 1.30.
We liked him too and had him for years.

No, Azteca didn't arrive yet, but someone emailed yesterday to say it was being sent out today in VG max, which will be brilliant if it did get sent.
I had another email tonight though saying they were sorry it hadn't arrived and did it arrive today...so, I'm not quite sure what to expect.

Jamaican Ginger I'm still very fond of ..but it gunks up coils really quickly - probably because it's all VG. I need to find something to thin it a bit so will ask CV for suggestions.
The Choc Vapetto and Honey Lemon Menthol are still my main ones for now. using ABC at the moment and it's much better than a few weeks ago! What's more, it doesn't seem to be one of the custards that gives me a problem!

I may play around with my lime one tomorrow: I have some Vanilla Ice Cream flavouring from CV and also some Koolada, so if I have time and inclination, I'll see if I can get something nice from those. I prefer the notion of mixing Vanilla Ice Cream ready to use liquid with the lime though, and that's on it's way in VG from the US.

I was hoping to order another mech mod this week, it was in stock monday but they're all sold out now! Grrr, not sure how long I'm going to have to wait.

I found a FB group for my little girls diagnosis, the more I learn the more there is to find out and as it is genetic my little boy could end up with it at anytime :'(

Our postie was early again today, hope he's early tomorrow or it will be another red card! Taking my little boy to visit nanan, she's having work done in the garden so she's been stuck at home all week.
