Alternatives to tanks and cartos?

I had no problems using tanks and cartos when I was using my Inferno from Volcano (as long as I used Vilcano liquid anyway)...

I've had my Provari 5 days now and have gone through more cartomizers for my tanks than days I've had it using multiple brands of liquid at various pg and vg ...

Nothing I've tried has worked and I'm done with attempting.. call me a quitter.. I am one and not ashamed of it, just beyond frustrated as I never had these problems before.

I absolutely detest regular cartomizers that I have to refill 4 times a day, so what are my other options? I've heard people mention things like the Vivi Nova, Stardust, and Kanger but want your opinions on them, particularly when used with a Provari.

But right now I'm so frustrated with myself I'll take any reviews or recommendations anyone has that doesn't involve your typical tank&carto combination or just regular standalone cartos that aren't punched but that I'd be refilling nonstop

Just my 2 cents but have you tried the mega dual cartomizers from smoktek? I can put 4.5 mL in one and literally vape all day without refilling. When I say vape all day, I mean the thing doesn't leave my hand.

Just not a fan if them one bit whatsoever but I appreciate the suggestion.

I didn't mind it with tanks because I only had to prime the one time and the tank did the rest.

Though I'm speculating that I'm doing something wrong even when priming them that's causing all these issues with tanks so I'm wanting to get away if at all possible but they're the only thing I've ever used, hence asking about the others

If you want to try clearo's they can be just as frustrating but I believe that the Kanger T3 (3ml capacity) is the best you can get period.
Check out this link Pbusardo does great reviews is well known in the vaping community and gives his honest opinion on everything IMHO.
I would give a try if I were you, worst case you don't like them you can always try RBA's but they can be more frustrating that carto's and more frustrating than clero's but once you have the learning curve you can custom tailor them to your liking.

I love my vivi nova's on my Provari. But if you really love the carto/tank way of vaping, you will need to make sure you use either 70/30 or 80/20 PG/VG juices, and possibly cartos that have 2 holes in them. The Boge cartos seem to be the favorite of most that like that type of a setup! Different strokes for different folks!

Well I was thinking it was my liquid but I've used a pure vg, pure pg, and a 50/50 and all of the cartos have basically just clogged up to the point of needing to strain just for a hit.

They're all 3 ohm xl cartos 2 hole punch from Provape so I'd assume at least one of those combos would work, but no dice.

I asked about the vivi nova because I've heard a lot of good things, but I'll definitely look at that video when I get the chance. I watched his reviews of several other things before buying my Provari ..

Are the Kanger and vivi nova made with a 510 to fit the Provari?? I could swear I heard the nova 2.5 was, but not entirely sure.. I'd rather avoid using an adapter if possible

No, you can't use 50/50 juice in carto/tanks or they clog. I learned that the hard way myself. You have to use 80/20 or 70/30 PG/VG at the thickest, with two holes. As you have seen, they just won't absorb in there and wick properly if the juice isn't thinner.

Yes the VIVI is a 510 the Kanger is ego threaded and probably wont fit in the provari so you would need an adapter I think but dont quote me on that I don't have a provari so I wouldn't know sorry I couldn't help more. That being said you wont be disappointed with the Kanger its my favorite clearo the VIVI and other clearo's you need to be careful to turn on there side to keep the juice flow otherwise you will get dry nasty hits. Also if you chain vape I have found that my VIVI sometimes cant wick fast enough for my vaping style.

Well I guess the majority of the liquid I have is useless then.. I had intended to purchase some from Heathers Heavenly Vapes soon anyway so I'll go ahead and grab one IBTanked setup with a different brand of carto and see if that will solve the issue ..

Yes, you need an EGO to 510 adapter for the Provari if you use a Kanger. I have heard so many people loving them, but I don't know why I've had bad luck with them leaking. Then again, I've heard others don't like Vivi's and had problems with them, and I love Vivi's. LOL. So you will see it really is personal preference

I'll look around to see about the Kanger for a Provari ... I'm constantly vaping so if you ran into that issue I almost certainly would as well LOL

Ah yeah I'll pick up a Vivi Nova then. I'm not big into adapters for vaping regardless of what I hear about them ..

I'm not trying to push a vendor but I just ordered these carts for my friend that loves the carto/tank setup and it's the best deal I have found at the moment...NEW 5pc Boge 510XL SR Pre-Punched Empty Cartomizer - Stainless They also sell Vivi's and Kangers, I believe, so you can try it all from one vendor But yea, get yourself some thinner juice for the carto/tanks!

Since you really were happy with the carto/tank setup, I would highly recommend the Boge carts with 2 holes because that's what most people use in that type of setup. The dual coil carts are not very good and go through alot more juice and wear down your battery faster. The Boge's are single coil carts.

I can't seem to find any pre punched boge cartos though, especially with 2 holes. I could purchase one of the tools for it but heard bad things about homemade punches lol

I use 50/50 blend all the time. It's almost all I use and I only use carto tanks. They never clog and I get a few weeks out of one carto. So you can use 50/50 depending on what kind of flavor or juice it is.

I think Squishy is right because come to think of it, my friend vapes 100% VG juice but they are organic and alcohol based, so they are thinner.

I actually like punching my own. I got a bad batch of prepunched ones which 3 outa 5 flooded on me but then again it was when I first started using carto tanks and could have been my own fault. So don't go by me cuz I never went back to try them after I got the hang of it.
