So I learned a valuable lesson today. Always carry a bottle of e-juice with you whether you need it or not. I usually take 4 tanks with me to work, 2 Kangertech pro tanks and 2 bcc tanks. Last night I forgot to fill my tanks before leaving for work so I had 3 empty tanks and 1 tank half full of menthol. One of the Kangertech’s had a leak because it was just low on juice and getting up a 3 am isn’t the time to sit and figure out what flavor you want for the day. So the lesson for the day, Always have a backup plan!

My back-up plan is I have 4 other vapers I work with. :2cool: seriously. I have an hour or so before I leave for work, have time to relax, have a cup of coffee and prepare my vape equipment for the day. But I need to buy a charger cable to have handy, and an emergency cheap-o tank.

Funny ain't it? for 25+ years all I needed for a back-up was a couple of bucks in my pocket. The price of a pack was all I needed. Now its a process to make sure I'm properly supplied.

I have Vapor King batteries charged and left in both cars, at work and at my vacation house with cartos nearby each. I even have one in my fishing tackle box! I always carry extra juice for my eGos also and a mini 350 mAh battery. Yes, I have a nicotine problem.

I will admit that I'd probably go buy an ecig from a gas station instead of smoking a cigarette in a real emergency though.

I am on vacation in the Tampa Bay Area. Took the fam canoeing. Had my vamo in a ziplock bag and thought I had sealed it tight. Of course the unthinkable happened and our canoe capsized. Vamo dead in the water. When we returned to the house, I immediately took tank off, batteries out, and put vamo in a bag of rice. Had my varimax and vaped on that for the next few days. After 3 days, took the vamo out of the rice, put batteries on and fires perfectly...whew.... Varimax now back to being a backup.

Lesson learned: always and I mean always have a backup (several if u can)! Did I mention always have a backup??

Cheers and vape on!
Nick

Must have been a scatter brained day all over! I woke up late today and left the house forgetting to change out the batteries I was vaping on the day before. I was sweating a few bullets there since I couldn't go back to get my charged ones but as luck would have it, I had more than enough juice.

Personally, I always carry two Vamos with 18650s and two spare Kanger ProTanks. That should get me through anything I might face. Worst case, I'd hit a gas station and pick up some Snus. I always thought they were useless when I was smoking but now that I'm vaping, I can appreciate them. I have one every so often when the cravings for the secondary alkaloids gets too bad.

This is good advice that I may take some day. I smoked 20 years and am convinced that almost everything in a cigarette was yummy, including the carcinogens, tar and all that crap. Vaping has never given me a true cigarette buzz and in the morning I like one. This is why my early morning mg level is double what it is the rest of the day, gotta establish your base. :vapor:

Lombaowski, I agree with everything you said! I vape 18mg in the a.m., 12mg or less during the day and 6mg or less in the evening. Gotta make up for the night of abstinence. I miss the rush of a cigarette, but since there are none around, I do just fine with my vaping. No temptation to buy any either. Don't want to give up the nice smell that is coming back to my clothes, hair, and vehicles. Did not smoke in the house and I sure won't miss sitting outside in a blizzard to get a nicotine fix!

I have the eGo large zipper case and I have all three levels of nic in there, I carry a minimum of two batteries and even a charger with me. I was a great addicted smoker with cigarettes stashed everywhere and never left home with at least one full pack. Why would I treat vaping any differently? Oh, and I still find lighters in every car, every purse, briefcase etc. Even have packs of matches stashed in all those places in case the lighters died. I protect my nicotine delivery systems, by gosh!

I will have a pass-through in the near future just for emergencies as in "Oh heck, I forgot to charge anything last night!". Can't wait for the APV with an 18650 and a few back up batteries! If I had a job that I actually had to go to (not my truck or home office), I would have a complete PV with at least three clearos, charger and juice in my desk. I just know me. Don't want people to be put through what I am like when I am jonesing for a smoke or vape. It is not a pretty picture!

I have the same zipper case. It has an extra 350 mAh battery, two 10ml bottles of juice, two atomizers with morning and afternoon brews, one 2ml tank for T, one 1.1ml tank for C. As I said earlier, I also have a bunch of v4l cartos and batteries stashed everywhere. I almost never ran out of cigarettes, no way I'm running out of this stuff.

Yeah, I smoked about a half pack over the 6 weeks after I started vaping but that last week was brutal. I really wanted to see the cigs go but would get tensed up from not having one for that week. I found the Snus performed the same function, but they've been proven to be no more than 1% more dangerous than abstaining completely, so I'd much rather have one of them.

I know that feel... I broke my tank 1 hour after getting to work this morning ... It was a long day...
Ouch, I think we all went through something like that. I had my first APV self destruct the first time I dropped it less than a week after I switched to vaping and no backup. It was a learning experience! :D
