Hi, I just recently began vaping, and I have an iTaste vv3 with iClear16s. I got my mountbakervapor order today and tried some of the juices. Cinnamon roll and orange dream bar seem to get a burnt flavor and im not getting much of the cinnamon/orange flavor. I have it set at 8 watts/4 volts. Anythng I might be doing wrong? Any help is appreciated thanks

In all likelihood, you need to let the liquids steep for at least a few days. Are you familiar with steeping?

Edited to add: Rose is correct, too! Both of those liquids are "tank crackers" and should only be used in glass/pyrex tanks. You may be getting funky chemical taste from the damage the liquid is doing to the tank.

I'd try backing down the watts to 6.5 and then to 7, 7.5 and see if you get a better taste in those ranges. I vape with the iTaste vv v3 too and I rarely find a juice that needs to be vaped at 8+. What is your coil ohms reading?.

Here's a chart that tells you w/v settings according to your coil ohms number.http://www.ecigadvanced.com/community/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/power.jpg

Some tanks I buy taste like plastic unless I clean them. Some are fine the moment they arrive from the store and some just taste awful. Maybe do a clean in 80% rubbing alchol. I know you need to search them out to find them that high. Your other option is to use everclear and clean them that way. Basically removing any mechanical type oils that are left over in the manufacturing type process. Surprisingly I have some that need no cleaning and some that I can't stand withouhout cleaning...same vendor.

What's the ratio you're using? When I first started DIY, I was mixing at 30/70 PG/VG and learned the hard way that some juices weren't wicking well enough in my iClear's, resulting in some pretty terrible flavor. I didn't realize how good my RY4 should have been tasting until I got my dripper and tried it in that. I was blown away by how much better the flavor was for all my high VG juices.

What blend did you order though? I'm telling you from experience I wouldn't try to put anything thicker than 65/30 PG/VG through an iClear. It really altered the flavor of a lot of juices that I was using at 40/60 or higher VG by producing dry hits since it couldn't wick fast enough.
All of my juices are 65/30 or 80/20, none are thicker than that
