Well like I said... I've been building coils for years and can't do one one in 10 seconds............

You said you can make a coil faster than cleaning one so snap, snap, get on that YT video please... :D

Clean coil:

Heat
dip
blow
Heat
dip
blow
Heat

20-30 seconds....

Make a new coil:

If you can't do it, thats not my problem! Are you always this annoying?

Are you always this annoying?

Only when new vapers make up fascinating stories about how proficient and studly they are....

Cleaning an already built and installed coil will be much faster than making and installing a new one... PERIOD....

Expert onward though.....

Nothing made up, I told you how easy and fast it is. I've tried cleaning them before as well and I can make them faster than cleaning them. You do it your way and I'll do it mine.

The problem is you are in the new members forum and talking to new vapers.. Everyone is not an 'expert' and a coil building machine like you claim to be.. Heck I've been vaping for 9 years and I can't do it as fast as you claim....

Anyways, don't make up wild stories and you won't get called out.. Easy peasy right?

I wasn't telling anyone to build coils at all. You were the one who mentioned cleaning them on this thread.

I don't make up any stories and I don't know who you think you are but your nothing to me so take a hike

Well like I said... I've been building coils for years and can't do a complete build faster than it take to clean an already built one............

You said you can make a coil faster than cleaning one so snap, snap, get on that YT video please... :D

Clean coil:
Heat
dip
blow
Heat
dip
blow
Heat

20-30 seconds....

Make a new coil:

Get build gear out
Build the coil
Assemble the coil onto RDA / RTA ect.
Test and adjust the coil for hotspots ect

3-5 minutes if you are proficient..
Well, not trying to convince anyone this way is better, but -be fair, Raq.;) My coils are simple 7 wrap spaced, done assembly line, a dozen or so at a time. Cut 12 lengths, less than on min. Insert and twist on coilmaster, maybe 15 sec. each. Precut KGD, seconds per wick. Once I'm sitting at my desk, everything is already in reach. Rebuild start to finish one tank is usually about 4 min, priming & reassembly included. I don't test and adjust coils for hotspots, only use spaced.

And you missed steps in yours:
Clean coil:
(readjust coil to fix any deformities caused by removing wick)
Heat
dip (after getting to a water source/faucet, or pouring water into a cup)
blow
Heat
dip
blow
(dump cup of water, put in dishwasher, or go back to your build desk from faucet)
Heat

Sure building a coil is not a massive time consuming ordeal.. Your 4 minutes for a spaced coil sounds legit to me... A bit more for micro..

I don't do RDA / RBA anymore as I am lazy but making one from scratch is not faster (not even close) than cleaning a perfectly good one that already on the device...

People can do as they please, I don't care but I'd still love to see that video of him making and assembling a coil in 10 seconds....... I'll wait but guess I'll never see it because we all know the claim is BOGUS...

Also, there are a lot of new peeps who buy pre-made coils for their RBA / RTA. Cleaning them is a cheaper option than tossing it and putting a new one on...

Either way, cleaning is an option for handmade or pre-made coils.. It's fast and easy as long as the coil is still working it's magic and just all cruddy looking from juice..

We are in the new member area and here we should be offering tips to new vapers who might already be overwhelmed.. The OP was almost to the point of giving up....

I doubt she needs to hear that a coil can be made in 10 seconds (when it can't be) believe its true then get frustrated when she can't do it....

We are off topic though so I'll digress.. I just don't like it when false info is given to new vapers as the other person has done more than once in this thread..

Okay so I went to one of my favorite vape shops and the guys there were showing me the tanks they’ve got. From all of the options they showed me the one I liked was a Zeus dual rta. Is it a good tank?

Apologies if I missed it but are you a mouth to lung vaper (like smoking) or a direct to lung vaper?

For a beginner I would not recommend a dual coil rta, didn't they have the single coil version?
As far as the tank goes, I can't really comment/recommend, because I'm a dedicated MTLer.

They said that I could use it dual or single. That’s why they said it would be a good option.

I’m pretty flexible when it comes to that. I enjoy both :)

If I were you, I'd do a lot of research into RTA's before taking the plunge. There are tons of videos on just about every RTA out there. Watch the videos, read reviews on vendor websites then decide. This might keep you from wasting money on something that's not optimal for your skill level and/or use..

Are you able to order and have something shipped to you? Or are you only able to purchase from a local vape shop? If vape shop only, can they order you anything you want if you decide on something they do not stock?

Lastly, if you don't feel comfortable building coils you can buy them pre-made in whatever ohm's you want. Plenty of places sell them. Your local vape shop may even do builds for you for a nominal cost. This can be a permanent option or as a fill in as you learn..

The only thing I wouldn’t like is that the flavor is bad and everybody says that the flavor is awesome. I still have time to think about it. I have 4 more coils to use :)

I have a friend who brings me stuff from the USA every month but I have to pay for it with my credit card, so I wouldn’t be able to get it if they don’t accept cards from Perú.

The guys at the shop told me today that every time I need to clean or change coils I can go to their shop and they can do it for me in case I don’t wanna mess with it :)

The airflow on that thing is like a needle's hole. If you enjoy both MTL and DL, you should look for a much open tank. I mean the airflow. Dual coil is subjective, but in a MTL tank, it's pretty much useless. On the other hand, if you get a much open airflow tank, you can just close the airflow as little as you want for MTL. Single coil can do a lot even for the pros.

I'm with raqball on this one.

For cleaning all you have to do is burn off the crud and brush over it, then rewick, rinse if its terribly messy but I don't usually need to rinse every time.

All the above applies and more if your going to build a new coil and install it.

When discussing the time something takes, you have to include more than just winding a coil since the topic is how long something ACTUALLY takes rather than how long a small portion of it takes.

You can't compare only winding a coil to cleaning one, since you can't vape that coil you wound without installation and wicking, whereas you can actually vape a newly cleaned and wicked one..

Your trying to equate apples and oranges and trying to convince people it makes sense when it doesn't.

Thats great, I'm glad you agree with him and enjoy cleaning and re-using your coils.

My whole point was that I don't. I tried it once and it was not faster for me, by the time I rinsed it, dry burned it, had to rinse it again, dry burn again, then when I went to re-wick it the wick was a mess as it would not insert as easily as a new coil and was ripping the wick so I said this is not for me.

If it was a lot more costly and a lot more time to put a new coil in I would certainly consider re-using, but it's not for me. Everyone does things a bit difference, I think this whole topic is ridiculous and hope people can just respect that not everyone does things like they do.

I have a question... why are you saying the taste is bad?

Have you tried someone else's RTA?

What were the circumstances and was it a juice you normally like?
