Sounds to me like she has a salesman thats only interested in selling what they have in stock instead of asking her questions about why she is vaping and what would best suit her vape needs.

I feel for her because that happens so much in this industry. It makes it really hard for people to begin vaping with more confidence and easier. This kind of salesmanship is also hurting the people that want to quit smoking because they get frustrated as they are sold the wrong product and or juices.

I'm pretty sure this is what happens in most vape shops. It reminds me of when I worked in a vape shop about four years ago.

I used a Provari regulated mod and cartotanks, because that is what worked for me. Our store didn't sell Provari's or cartotanks because management said they couldn't make money if they sold them. Well, a few of our customers bought their own Provari's and cartotanks online and were vaping them in our store because they had tried my setup and thought it worked better than anything we sold in the shop. Apparently that didn't sit well with management.

Management then prohibited me from using my Provari and cartotanks on company time, and said I had to use gear that our store sold. Our store sold SMOK products and I wasn't about to use them. Our shop was pushing mech mods and rebuildables. I already had an AltSmoke mech mod and a Patriot RDA (both sold in the shop) and used that setup while on duty.

I know that all too well, was in retail sales for years and my boss always told us to always push whats in stock only, specially old stock. If a sales has a great deal, and or pushing a product on me I will never buy it. I always research first, then go to the store knowing what I want to get, if they don't have it, bye bye.

With vaping tho, they should be asking customers all kinds of questions when they are first starting out, because they will be return customers if they know you have their interest.

Well, I went to the guy specifically asking for a Reuleaux cause I had already done my research and I loved everything about it. He has recommended an rda or rta but he didn’t give me much info cause we were at a mall and he doesn’t own an actual store, it’s just online.

I messaged my favorite store and I asked rdas so they recommended the dead rabbit and the drop. But they have recommended another rta after I explained my problem.

@Rockford i started vaping cause I wanted to quit smoking. It’s helped me a lot but sometimes especially when I go out drinking or after expensive dinners I feel like smoking, and I want to stop that. I’ve also noticed vaping helps me get rid of cravings and helps with my anxiety (yeah, sometimes I like to have something in my mouth to calm down -_- and I’m not keen on gum lol)

I started with a joyetech exceed and I noticed that after a while all flavors tasted exactly the same and I felt I wasn’t getting all the flavor I could from vaping. Also noticed that some coils died on me fast, so that’s why I also think maybe I’m the problem

I don’t know what I want! Ideally I’d like to stop spending more money because this kit was already expensive to begin with. So I’m pretty disappointed this is happening. I’ll take all your advice into consideration tonight and hopefully there won’t be any more problems
Yea, that's always a bummer. Learning to one's cost seems to be a fixed part of getting into vaping :ß

I don't know..is it really reasonable to tell someone to go down the {rebuildable route} right when they've just started vaping? I don't see that. It requires even more learning, a set of specialised tools, and it takes due time to exercise it properly each time it is done... that's not really cool for newcomers.

"vapour's tongue" ? or you're like me and you need higher flavor% mixes than normal. plus, a little shot of menthol always helps with my mixes.

I’ve been vaping for almost a year. Just upgraded from a regular pen to a Reuleaux gen3 dual. I’ve always been attracted to the idea of an rda but they’re quite intimidating. After reading all the recommendations I think eventually I’ll end up doing that. Maybe not this week but probably next... lol! I don’t know. I’m gonna keep trying this new coil. I’ll be home soon and I’ll continue testing it with all the information everyone has given me

To give you some more headache: RBA ≠ RDA ≠ RDTA ≠ RTA ;-)

So you basically just bought your 1st real vape device :) That's what I meant heh.

lol I think I know the differences between them. Just not sure if I want to get into all that. I like the simplicity of buying a coil and calling it a day. But these little s*#\¥ won’t stop burning on me

Okay, well I started for the same reasons as you and almost quit as well as I was so frustrated at first with bad coils etc expense, but I knew I didn't want or need big clouds as you will go through way more juice, need bigger mods with more batteries, bigger coils that are more expensive, when really I just wanted a satisfying vape like a smoke.

Then I seen a video on MTL, much cheaper for everything, single batt mod, smaller coils, juice last 3 or 4 times longer and lots of people were very satisfied with mtl vaping. Thats when I bought the Kroma A platform series (means Zenith mtl tank) drop in plexus mesh coils last up to 5 times longer... this was for me... and that was what kept me vaping. No big clouds, way less expensive and very satisfied with the draw and flavour.

If you can get your coils to work with what you have thats the best idea, but if you cannot, since you already have a mod, my suggestion would be the zenith tank and I think you would be very happy with it.

Well, I’m gonna guess the tank is not working properly or something. Or maybe the temp is too high on my vape. Nobody has asked me about it so I don’t know if that’s even important.

I was going to say the coil was working just fine, but as soon as you replied to this message, it started fasting burnt again. I’m getting really frustrated and this whole thing has given me a migraine cause it’s all I think about.

It’s really disappointing because I bought all this juice that I thought I was going to enjoy and now I can’t.

The Kroma A is a good mod and the Zenith tank is a good MTL tank.... You have a good setup for sure.

As far as I know usually that tank has very little to do with the actual vape as long as it doesn't leak etc.. the vape is produced from the coil / cotton etc. the only other thing I can think of is your juice is just too sweet for high wattage or bad coils, but I'm no expert on DL tanks so...maybe someone else knows more about that tank.
