Am I the only one that hates cartomizers?

I have been looking around for a new brand of e-cig and all the new stuff is cartomizers, cartomizers, cartomizers. Bluck! Are they starting to do away with the 3 piece e-cigs, except for mods?

I have been vaping for over a year and a half and want something pretty and different. I already have enough mods and an ego, 510s, 901s, 401s, and penstyle. I would like to have a fancy ecig just for me. Maybe something with a bigger battery? It could still be a 510 or 901, just not the same old stuff. WITH NO CARTOMIZERS! HATE THOSE LITTLE SUCKERS.

I am about ready to go buy a pack of cigs. GRRRR!

I apologize to all those people that like their blucky cartomizers.
I envy people who like tham sometimes.

I tried the 510 cartos awhile back and didn't like them. I then tried the Joye cartos when they came out. None of that filler crud to burn right? They tasted like dookie too. I was a dripper and needed somthing when I'm driving. It can get a little hairy dipping 3 drops while doing 160 kmh on the autobahn (j/k). I bought myself an Ali'i and am loving it.

I had only used 510 lr carto's since I started vaping 2 months ago on a ego battery. I thought that was the chit until I got the new eGo-T and a new world was opened: incredible taste. I tried a carto after a week of dripping and almost gagged.

Since, I have ordered more eGo-T's and atties to go with my new Provari--never going back to carto's.

Hey Suddenly,
Should i have read your post last week, i would be agreeing and nodding my head through the whole paragraph, it seems this week a lot has changed .
I became a dripper by accident, didn't want to become one, pain in the a:censored: was all i remember thinking... fed up with carts, fed up with atty's i turned to carto's and hated them was a polite way to put it, the only one that i remotely liked are the lr 510 ones. They too ended up in the waste/not working properly file. So back to normal 510 atty's i went
This week i got my ego-t atty and carts, it seems i fall into the very few minority category that keeps getting burnt tastes and hardly any flavour, even after so many refills, im trying to persist and some flavours are better than others, just not my favorite ones. To rule out any discrepancies I've ordered some more atty's from two different vendors, and we shall see when they come in this week if my views upon them change. Dont get me wrong, i love the concept, even though i own a bottom fed mod. I have a newly owned ego, less than a week old, thing is i love the style so easy to hold and so funky in snow white.
Which brings me to trying out the CE2 cartomizers..... they started the same ol way as the tanks, so off to you tube i went, just like the tank research. I've been vaping for about 8 months but you always learn more from others. Any who's a few simple tweaks and these are beasts!!!
They are vapor dragons, and the taste has left me speechless. They are definatley on the warm side, which i used to hate, but these flavours coming through.... are mind boggling me to no end, and a very small price to pay.
Sorry to hijack ya thread, but i thought i might share a bit of rambling, and i hope you one day find a carto you *might like*.....now im running away LOL

I was always an atty guy. Tried cartos a year or so ago, and hated them. But as of lately, I've almost completely switched over to cartos. You just gotta find the right one for your PV. Bloog's freakin rock. I can't believe how great they wick and hit. I like V4L's wow carto's as well. Some of them do better on smaller batteries, while others stand out on an 18650 more. Just gotta kind of figure it all out. Another thing to watch out for, is darker juices in cartos. Don't wick well, and clog it up pretty quick compared to lighter colored juices imo.

Once in a while I'll use carto's,but to me,after 5-6 good clouds, then a dry, outta juice taste on all of'em,except the mega carto's for the eGo.I have read of problems with melting as they are mostly plastic, although i have not had any problems with them. They are also a small PITA to refill.
I got by that problem, all the taste of dripping, not much hassle and very cheep.
drill a small hole in a plastic driptip, get some r/c car silicon fuel line,a 3ml bottle from a journeyman, and a small strip of stick on velcro.View attachment 29009

I have found a nice combo for daily use to be my Kaji JM with a 901 LR, and my SDMKII with a Bloog carto for when I need to be mobile. My protege also does real good with the carto's. Maybe even better than the SD. But the button is exposed, so it's not that great for hard work. It's more of a out on the town vape imo.

I used to feel the same way until I tried the CE2 xl clearomizers. They really seem to compare to a standard atty/cart sytem and they come in various ohm ratings that is easy to find your perfect combo. I like the higher 3.0-3.2 on an ego but I think the 2.8-3.0 would be exactly what you need. A 5 pk is around $12-14, so not a huge cost and they are clear, so you know how much juice is in it and when your running low.

Check out the classifieds, I saw a few people selling them

But uba, a little drip here and a little drip there tastes so much better to me, and sooooooo much easier! I have tried dozens of cartos and hate them all.

What is the difference between the regular eGo and the eGo-T's. Please, Please, don;t say cartos.
