Am I the only one that hates cartomizers?

I despise cartos, the only thing I use them for anymore is when I go out I have a couple on me in case somebody wants to try vaping The taste is just too papery, or clogged, or something, compared to dripping. Guess I am spoiled...

I prefer Attys anytime over cartos. The newer cartos are better but still there is something about them I dont like. Maybe someday they will be made more like attys,

I have tried so many different cartos and am just sick of spending money on more things i don't like. BUT the Ego-T...oh yeah. I had an old Ego battery so I ordered just the atty and the tanks to try. The best $25 I spent. My ego batt doesn't hold charge for very long so I got on Cignot and ordered a kit. It has two battery (can upgrade to the 1000mah for $4 a battery), two atty's, two chargers, 5 tanks included (filled or not filled) and you can get different colors. I ordered a blue and a black but they have pink etc. I searched some other suppliers but with this kit it qualifies for free shipping and other places you only get one atty, etc. etc. It really broke down to the cheapest one i could find even without her having a coupon code. That's the whole kit of course - just atty's and tanks - goodprohets like mentioned earlier in the thread and liberty flights have good prices.

I have been looking around for a new brand of e-cig and all the new stuff is cartomizers, cartomizers, cartomizers. Bluck! Are they starting to do away with the 3 piece e-cigs, except for mods?

I have been vaping for over a year and a half and want something pretty and different. I already have enough mods and an ego, 510s, 901s, 401s, and penstyle. I would like to have a fancy ecig just for me. Maybe something with a bigger battery? It could still be a 510 or 901, just not the same old stuff. WITH NO CARTOMIZERS! HATE THOSE LITTLE SUCKERS.

I am about ready to go buy a pack of cigs. GRRRR!

I apologize to all those people that like their blucky cartomizers.
I envy people who like tham sometimes.

Sorry I'll admit I haven't read the whole thread so forgive me if I repeat anything that's been said.

I agree! I started with the kr808 and I loved it. Progressed to the Ego/Riva and no turning back! I love the (old fashion) atty! But I will say some juices do taste acceptable in cartos. Both my Rivas died and had to go back to my kr808 PTs untill the new Rivas come in. Granted - not as good but they still hold their own.

I don't hate my cartos at all (using KR8 or 510 LR ones from Litecig), but I'm taking a look at the EgoT as well. Should be here today or tomorrow. We'll see how well they work. Been keeping an eye on the now monster tread about the EgoT and it seems there may have been different revs. The ones from Cignot seem to get good reviews there which is where I ordered mine from.

I hate cartomizers, and no matter how much they improve them I will never use them.

I find it to be much more of a pain in the ... to refill them than it is to just drip.
And I also change flavors constantly, so again, dripping is the only way that works for me.

I do worry sometimes that someday everything will be all cartomizers.
That is why I have enough 510 atomizers to last me until the end of time.

I get what you guys are saying about carto's. A month or so ago I'd be right there with you. But this Bloog, lol man I'm tellin ya. It's bad .... Coupled with the Red flavor they sell, it's my new favorite. My chuck burns them up pretty quick, but they will pop your eyeball out if not careful. Massive, quick, flavorful hits.

I noticed that you were not just commenting on cartos but looking perhaps for a new ecig, something without cartos. I did not notice a mention of it, but the new Boge Leo is getting good reviews. It more like a large batt penstyle than an eGo, and it does use proprietary atomizers and penstyle carts. There are some opinions offered in the reviews forum. They are elegant looking. I find they work well for dripping, but I haven't been able yet to get the carts to wick well. So I still revert to my 510 mods. Anyhow, if you really want something a bit feminine and with a decent flavor (but not a whole lot of th), take a look at the Leo.

I have always had good luck with Cignot. I still have some original 510 batts and attys I got a year ago. I also got my Ego there back in August. Still using the original atties. Love those girls. They have been really good to me.

If you haven't tried IkenVape's cartomizers yet, they might change your mind.

After the mess of 510 atties and carts leaking all over, I tried the Boge cartos and preferred their neatness, even though they did incur a flavor hit. Then IkenVape had a sale going on and I finally tried these: IKV 510 Cartomizer Gold V2 Drip-Style - What an improvement! Flavor is great, the filler is different than other cartos (taste-free), and quite loose so they hold more liquid than Boge or 808 cartos... I probably put about 20-30 ml through each, the first two lasted me a couple of months (with occasional use of other things for flavor variety). I will definitely order more, even though I just got a bunch of the clear CE2s.

The higher cost of IkenVape's cartos did put me off at first, but I learned they are worth it. To me they taste as good as dripping, while offering the convenience of cartos when away from home. Maybe you will like them too - they're a different internal design than other cartos, and work great for me on an eGo-style battery. Not kidding, the first time I tried one, my eyes literally flew open in surprise and delight at the flavor and hit! So I was very happy I decided to try them.

Mind you, I haven't tried a huge variety of PV options (only 510 variations and 808s) but I'm quite satisfied with IkenVape's cartomizers. The ones I linked to are 2.5 ohms.

Maybe my problem is I tried them so far into the vaping process that I need the flavor of fresh juice dripped onto my atty.
