True dat! When I switched to a rebuildable atomizer, the quiet was a bit disconcerting. My wife loves the sizzle of a new carto.

How odd. I too used to love that. When I switched to Echo's with their giant cartomizers, I couldn't go back to the regular because the Echomizers are that good, but I do miss that crackle.

I have a Vivi Nova head that crackles in my mouth. I like it but sometimes I'd rather have the smooth vape of a properly working head.

Nope not the only one. I use a small ego twist with a smoktech mega carto when I'm out and about and enjoy the sizzling. Its about the size of a cigar.
