Am I the only person who's Reuleaux RX200s has a reasonably good 510 connection ?

And I don't believe the stories of "my such and such atty with a long 510 sits flush". No, it doesn't, and it can't.

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but all of my tfv4s sit flush on there. Maybe the pin isn't as long as some other tanks, but I know a lot of people have said the tfv4 won't sit flush. Mine does. I have been using it for 6 or 7 months that way. It has sat flush the whole time. Fortunately, it hasn't given me any issues.

That said, the 510 is far from perfect. It SHOULD be deeper and able to handle a much longer pin. I feel that is the only downside to the mod. Truthfully, I think it was just a matter of form over function. They wanted to make the RX200 as small and cheap as they could, and this meant putting in a very short and subpar 510. While it will work fine for some, it doesn't work great for all. For me, it works fine since all I use are Griffin 25s and TFV4s. If it goes out, I still think it is a great mod that I will just replace the 510 with a higher quality one. Until then, I will keep using this one and have a spare one at the ready for when that time comes.

There are my pics to show that my TFV4 truly does sit flush on there.

My new RX200S is working fine with Kayfuns and Squapes. I do notice a slight wobble play when the tank is screwed down flush with the socket surface. That must be play in the mounting rails someone mentioned up topic.

I'm looking for a flush 510 socket saver like the one posted up topic.

That's not what I see. I see you holding the mod at a steep angle in the top pic rather than looking at it from directly to the side, which suggests you were trying to hide the gap, and I see the gap clearly visible in the second pic.

Here's a comparison.

Notice the total lack of any gap between the tank and the mod.

Now let's look at yours....

Call me crazy, but I see a clear gap between the bottom of that tank and top of your mod. Even the black mod in darkness can't hide that.

No, what you see is the rounded edge going up to the overhang of the tank.

Maybe these two will satisfy you. They are about as close as perfectly level with the surface of the top as I can get.

Not a bit of light coming thru under the tank where aside from the rounded edge at the very front of the mod where it rounds up and the tank has a tiny overhang.

Or maybe this one where you can actually see where the tank has literally worn away the paint on the top of the mod where it rubs when it screws down.

Just a heads up, but if you are planning on using the TFV4 on the rx200, don't crank it down too tight. The rx is known for having a garbage 510, and wismec says using a tfv4 voids the warranty.

Thanks for the heads up. I might use one of these and file down the center pin if necessary as a mod saver.

It's listed as a 25mm sink, and the TFV4 is a 24.5mm.[/QUOTE]

And where can you buy these at???
never mind... I found the link...

Yes, that means it will stick out .25mm on each side.. which is quite low. 1/4th of a millimeter. That's good enough for me.

yes, these look like they would be a good investment, and something one should have on hand.

I just ordered some today.
I ordered the 22 and 1 stainless 25 and 1 black 25 that is stainless steel.
I may order a couple more sizes on the 1st. depends on the mail and I am getting a little scared of ordering from china. I have had 1 item seized by customs on June 6th.
