When I was your age I'd been smoking for 1 year and thought I'd be able to quit smoking any time I wanted.
It took 33 years and the invention of the ecig before I actually could.

I'm sure glad that you stopped smoking and started vaping. Wish they would have had e-cigs when I was 18, I started at your age and had I gotten of analogs at 18 my lungs would be in much better shape than they are today! Congrats to you and welcome!

I agree with the posters who take a hard line about people under 18 using tobacco in any form, of course...but I did.
Had been smoking about as long as the OP when I was his age.
If PVs had existed, which they didn't, of course it should have been illegal for me to buy them, of course.
BUt I'd have been better off.
THese things SHOULD be illegal to those under the age of majority. (18, most places.) But there should be a concerted effort on all of our parts to defend the fact that PVs and other less hazardous alternatives to smoking should be no harder to get than cigarettes are.
If a few underagers get hold of them, to quit smoking or to replace cigarettes...I think it's less bad than if they stay on the smokes. Course, they SHOULD just completely quit nicotine.

Hello, and congratulations on quitting! I'm 25 and started smoking when I was 16. Only been vaping for about a week but loving it.
I've got 30 years on you. I started smoking in my early 20's and conitued on/off until last June when I started vaping. I sure wish I would have had the opportunity to cape 20 years ago. Consider yourself fortunate to kick the analog habit so young.

I got married when I was 18. Now I've been divorced over twice as long! LOL I didnt start smoking analogs till a few years ago. Heck the only thing I smoked as a teenager was the rear tires on my 1977 Smoky and the Bandit Trans AM! That sure dates me with all the other geriatrics! LOL

Seriously, it's great to see the age spread on the forum. It's rare to find a place where so much experience and point of views come together.
