Hey everyone I've been silent for a little bit but school and work have me quite busy atm...
I'm one day shy of two weeks but when pulsing my coils today I had rusted looking spots on my coils and I couldn't be bothered with making new coils just for one days use.
So first the Incubus clone. I got it from 2fdeal and it's claimed to be a 1:1 clone for thirty dollars. The only difference I've noticed different is just that there's no serial number on the magazine. Now the sole purpose I bought this mod is because I'm a huge handgun collector and the gimmick of the magazine feature on the mod and loading it like a gun was a fun gimmicky idea for me....
Now this mod looks super sexy and is very well built but o......m.....g the amount of parts this mod has is insane. I broke it down when I first got it and about halfway through had to search for a tutorial to finish the breakdown. I'm not as experienced as others so I'm sure it takes people far less time but for me the breakdown and reassembly took about 45 minutes and one part was a real pita to get back in right... Another con for me is how loose the 510 is. It's an adjustable 510 but has almost no tension so I constantly found myself readjusting the 510 every time I took the rda off. I searched online and this is a problem the authentic has as well.
The good though is that it's really sturdy feeling, sexy looking, hits real well, is parallel so if using LG HG2s and not using a ridiculous build expect a full day or more of use with one set. Another plus is that it cost 10% the cost of the authentic.
While I like the mod I can say it won't be in constant rotation in my collection due to the amount of parts and the always self adjusting 510. If what I've stated won't bug you than by all means get it, it's a fun mod.
Now the Kennedy Rda clone. SXK V5 clone from 3fvape. Cost 18 dollars.
Now I think it's a great rda. It chucks clouds while still giving great flavour which I seem to notice from bottom airflow rdas. It also comes with a bottom feeding pin and extra screws. The black finish I have on mine seems really high quality and I've experienced no chipping in the two weeks of constant use I've put it through.
The bad i can think of is;
Top airflow? Just why? I have never used it past the first day and always have had it closed off since. With the top airflow open I notice a loss of flavour, no change in cloud production, and it just feels like way to much airflow with no resistance and no heat.... Also this rda perfers larger width builds. Smaller builds will have trouble aligning the build to the airflow and putting the leads through the posts.
It may sound like im slamming this rda but I really like it. I feel like this Rda is going to see its fair share of use in the future.
Sorry I'm not providing broken down pics but I'm going to pull the "busy card" as an excuse
