Would CASAA consider contacting and educating Americans For Prosperity? There is a Director in most States and if they would help us and support us,they could be invaluable. They lobby for property rights and individual rights and are quite effective. They already have an effective lobbying structure in place.I have visited with Texas staffers many times. As,yet,I have not spoken to Peggy Venable the Texas Director. I sent information on ecigs to a staffer and she has shared this with Ms. Venable. Now that the Legislature has adjourned,I will try to get an appointment with her and share all of the CASAA information with her. Perhaps the CASAA Board might toss this thought around about contacting Americans For Prosperity and asking for national help in the fight against ecig bans. We could never have the money, the contacts, and the influence this organization has already achieved. I will say this organization has a very conservative image and this might prove difficult in some States--but they are fearless. I have donated a very small amount to this organization in Texas.
