amps drop when vaping

so i built a 1.6 ohm coil but after a few pulls, it drops down to 1.5 ohms. After i let it cool down, it goes back to 1.6 ohms. i'm using 4 wraps of 32g kanthal. is this normal?

Yep. There is always a wee bit of wiggle room in resistance when heating and cooling take place.

^ Precisely. The resistance will vary while using it. It will also tend to drop permanently over time.
