I would have liked to see 2- 14500 batts instead of 2- 14430s (odd batt size). much easier to get and a standard size. Other than that the PV looks nice. Who carries those batts for sale?
I agree a rather poor choice in cells. The PV could have been about 2mm larger in diameter and about 18mm shorter and used more common and longer lasting cells that are available from a number of manufacturers and vendors.

These batteries wont work if you read the description they actually say 800mah. Dont know why the picture says 650mah. It also says "Flat Top Contacts, NOT Button top." So they wont work.
Well what exactly do the batteries you are using say on them? Is there a manufacturer stamped on them?

Are there built in safeguards that allow the use of unprotected cells?

650mAh is the claimed capacity of 14430's, unfortunately seeing as the 900mAh 14500's only test out at about 700mAh we can assume these will hover at about 550mAh.

That's not much to work with. Someone using a standard Joye atty at a higher voltage could easily drain these in less than 4 hours (I'm being generous here).

No offense but your 'Review' is a quick and rather confusing first impression, and your later battery info/comments have probably confused folks further. You should have did a little homework and preparation first, and a few photos would have been nice.

I saw dog's review of this unit....this thing is huuuuuuge....well ok it isn't huge but man his was long.

They.re really not that long. Here is the dimensions on them.

1. Variable voltage
2. adjustable without a screwdriver
3. regulated voltage
4. numbered dial for adjusting
5. over temp ./ current protection
6. comes in Black on Brass caps , Brass on brass , Nickel on brass and brass on nickel or nickel on nickel and black on nickel.

all in a 0.67" diameter tube that is 4.5 " long , it will use 14430 batts ,( we liked the length for 14430 batts better 43mm long )

2 x 3.7 v 14430 batts
These will be Nickle Or Chrome plated Alum

Infinity Kit $109.95

Infinity $79.95

Mike has developed a new technology that will lengthen the vaping time conciderably so the extension tube probably will fall by the wayside because it won't be needed. I refer to this link. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/notcigs/146738-new-technology.html

It uses the 14430 battery 650 Mah , we are getting 5-8 hours per charge depending on the vape , It does NOT like LR attys ( they draw to much current and drain the batteries ) AW High drins are not recommended .
It comes with blue back light led inside the tube .

1mm magnets work great. The batts I got with mine had trouble making contact (totally the batts fault BTW), slap a magnet in between the batts and fires right up.

For all those wondering BTW, the button is placed about 3/8 inch from the top cap, and is perfectly situated with the pot wheel. Don't even have to turn the mod in your hand to hit the button then turn the wheel. Notcigs.com sets a new bar with this one ;)
