This is an email I am going to send to my State Representatives; Any feed back is appreciated.

Good morning Representatives McGee and Meyer,
I'm contacting you this morning to urge you to support SB 1209.
I use Electronic Cigarettes and have successfully managed to quit smoking cigarettes and cigars. I had tried several times in the past to quit tobacco and just couldn't. I had tried several solutions, even Chantix and failed. Actually the Chantix worked but I could not stand the really disturbing dreams it caused and stopped taking the medication and went back to smoking.
Then I discovered electronic cigarettes (e-cigs) and was able to finally let go of tobacco or I should say, shake the terrible hold tobacco had on me.
However, I understand that these devices are not toys and might lead children toward a path to using tobacco. In fact I wish it had been illegal to sell cigarettes to minors when I started smoking. I was 12 or 13 years old at the time. If I had not be able to buy them, at such a young age, maybe I would have chosen to not smoke at all by the time I was an adult. By the time you reach adulthood you can make informed decisions on using devices like e-cigs.
Youngsters should not fall to peer pressure for e-cigs or tobacco.
Most of the vendors, local and via the internet, I use already have a policy to not sell to minors, but I still think SB 1209 is a good idea.
Please vote yes on SB 1209 on Banning them for sale to minors. These devices and the eliquid that they vaporize are very helpful to people that want to get off of tobacco. But they shouldn't be available to children.
Thank you for your time and service.
