After reading and reading the plethora of info on this amazing forum, I finally slapped some sense into my head and realized a few things (which may only and probably only apply to me):

1. I do not HAVE to dry burn or rebuild my coils/heads/thinggummies. I can clean them as I think needed and just replace the dern things when I need to. At less than $2 a pop, this is cheaper than my PAD habit even if I did it every day. Which I won't, but still...

2. Variable voltage and stuff is not necessary for me to be happy. After dithering and finally getting a vv device I discovered (duuuhhh!) that the simple little straight ego bats I had actually taste better with the juices I'm using rather than cranking it up. So, 'keep it simple stupid' applies to me. It appears that anything over 3.8 and mama ain't happy.

3. Shiny things and buttons are way cool, but this simple person will simply admire all the nifty looking set ups you lovely people have and stick with my evods/ego bats. Maybe later I'll go nuts, but right now - admiration only.

4. I will not visit ........ any more. He is trying to get me into trouble whether he knows it or not.

5. vaping and this forum have helped me kick a 20+ year habit - Yippeee! And I don't have to have a Vamo or a Provari or a voltage meter or a lot of technical know how either. And nobody here has laughed at me for that - thank you! The support is amazing and so very helpful.

Now I am going to quit stressing over whether or not I'm doing this 'right' and just enjoy it for what it is. And I enjoy it more than I ever did smoking, which I never thought I would be able to say.

I could have written this, so I am empathetic,,,,,,

I just bought 2 vision spinners,,,,,,,,,,

yeah, except where I like my juices is EXACTLY 3.7,,,,,,,,which is where my old non VV was. sigh.

I just HAD to have these EVODs,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,frankly,,,,,,,,the jury is still out, but I yanked out my cartos because,,,,,,,,well,,,,,,the EVODs are very airy and frankly,,,,,,,I like the juice better in my cartos. (good thing I forsaw this possibility and bought a adapter so I could still use my old cartos with my new Spinners),,,,,,

Frankly,,,,,,,,I don't even have a cell phone,,,,,,,,,why did I think I needed all these gadgets?????

Hey Cat, congratulations! it is always good when you can have your Epiphany early on. I was there pretty early on too and while I did start with eGo Twists and soon after with a spinner (just because it was purple and pretty) I too did not find I ever went higher than 3.7/3.8 for a long time.

Now I do find with some juices and devices I do creep up to 4.0 and even 4.2 occasionally - so over time you might actually be glad you bought yourself a VV device :)

Now as one that was very happy with my Twists and Spinners for a good 3/4 months - somehow I have still managed to keep spending money  but I do have to admit I have not regretted anything I have bought - other than maybe a few bottles of juice.

So - keep on enjoying what you have now and know that unless you want to - or you forget to stay away for Vapor Joes or Vaporgirls - you don't need to be buying anything fancier.

I guess its ok. I'm always recommending eroll though. I m never shy about saying its just wonderful to have such fun handsfree vaping. Tempt tempt. Hah! and if you have a regulated 3.7 you won't have to deal with falling power which I found frustrating. It's not VV but it maintains the output voltage until the charge is depleted which your VV will do as well so you might as well take advantage. VV can be set lower as well.
