Hi, I'm HazMatt. You can call Matthew if you prefer.

First, let me just say, WOW, that is a lot of information to take in!

I smoke a little over a pack of analogs each day. But, I can easily smoke two packs in a day. The busier I am, the less I smoke. But, when I'm driving, sitting at a computer, or watching TV, I smoke more. With my smoking habits, I will want a set up that I will only have to top off a few times a day. Although, there will likely be times when I will want to just sit back and enjoy some full flavor, directly atomized drops.

From what I have researched so far, I will likely want a set up with a cartomizer and have a drip tip for those times when I want to just sit back and enjoy a good vape.

I look forward to hearing from the community. I am glad I found this forum.

I don't want to go into any details on setups, as I've only started vaping myself.

I would recommend you get a pass-thru. I use mine in the car and while sitting at the desk. I use a 1.6ml clearomizer and lasts me on long trips and sessions at the desk.

I second the pass through. I found a neat little, inexpensive variable voltage (well, some variation, not tons) that lives next to the computer now. No hassling with batteries while I'm busy...

There are some recommendations that I'd give you to start out with. Find a good eGo Twist 1000mah battery with a carto tank kit and get yourself a matching Atty to go with it. I'd actually recommend getting two batteries with it and you can go all day on a rig like that. Volcano makes a nice kit called the Inferno that comes with two batteries and a tank, but it is not a variable voltage system, though mine has really helped me kick the analog habit. Either way, starting off with a 510 standard kit (both the eGo and the Volcano Inferno are 510 standard rigs) will give you the flexibility to rock as many accessories as you care to play with in the immediate future. Great kits to begin vaping on. Stepping up from there, you might want to take a look at something like the Vamo V2 with a Kanger ProTank on it, but your initial investment in gear going that route will be higher as you'll need batteries and chargers and such. The Volcano and some of the eGo rigs are pass-through systems which means they can be charging while you use them, which is kinda nice. Anyway, that's kinda start on possible recommendations to begin with. I'm sure others will chime in with many ideas as well. Welcome to the forums and good luck on your switching from analogs to vaping!

I will likely by three batteries, so I'm not really worried about vaping while the battery charges. My biggest concern is having to refill the e liquid.

Clearos, cartos, and tanks...oh my. I have more research to do before I purchase my first set up.

I will likely go with is a ego twist because it is so highly recommended.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.

HazMatt, you may want to peruse Baditude's blog. It's got tons of information in it that will be useful to you. :)

Thanks for the link, The more research I do the higher the likelihood I will enjoy my setup when I finally buy one.

Welcome Matthew I'll just add get a high level juice for in the am to curb the cravings.

Not just for the morning, all day long.

I pretty much second these thoughts. I don't think you can go wrong with an Ego-style set-up with 2 or 3 different batteries, large and small, a handful of Crystal Vision replaceable cartos, an atomizer, and a Vivi mini nova tank or 2.
