I had 3 cigarettes since i got my gear, i ran out of juice. Same day, got some juice after work. And thing are going great regarding quiting smoking. But...
Last 2-3 days i having issues tasting the juice.
If i dont remember wrong, i experienced something like this when i vaped few years ago.
Its so anoying, arh. I only taste a hint of the juice and i tried 3 different ones. Tough it was my tanks, if i wicked it bad or if the juice was bad.
Now im vaping a flavor that tasted great last week. Same problem.

Any of you know how long this lasts?
It sucks.

Sounds like vapers tongue. It's a really good time to vape your awful juices and save the good ones. People will tell you to sniff coffee grounds, brush your teeth alot, drink more water....all of these are great suggestions. Me? Vaping something lemon always fixes me right up. As for how long it takes to go away, not very long. A week, tops. Unfortunately, it seems like a very long week. Hang in there.

Hard to say. Over time I have found a few things I can do to combat vapors tongue but I suspect it's different for everybody. A meal often helps. Drinking diet pepsi (no idea why but it works best for me). Simply drinking water also helps but it takes awhile. Vaping citrus, like lemonade, will sometimes jar the buds back into operation. Get away from coffee. Coffee is the great taste killer for me. Everything gets bitter in a heartbeat. Not sure any of this will help you but suffice to say you can probably find things that will help.

I remember when i started vaping first time. It sucked, i suspected i have to experience this again. But not so fast. It terrible, i only taste a hint of sweetnes. Tropical juice i tough sucked but got nice reviews tasted sour sopelike. Gonna try the coffetrick. Brushed teeth, having a beer, drink water. No difference at all.

First time i was vaping, after a while. I think it was after the tasteless periode flavors got allot stronger.
I remember eating things that allmost blow my mind about how much flavor it had. It calmed down after a while, but normal food i eat for a long time game me "tastegasm" if thats a word. Dont remember how long this lasted before things got "normal".
Any of you experienced that?

Yes, I needed to gain about 10 lbs, and quitting smoking sure made it more enjoyable for me. I've been smoking since age 18 and I'm 43.... I had NO CLUE what food tasted like. It tastes FANTASTIC, LOL.

I've just recently, in the last few days, had someone tell me that eating 1 Kosher Dill Pickle a day for 3 days...cured his vapor's tongue problem. I can't say it will or not for you though.

I always recommend eating a Dill Pickle, Fresh Pineapple, drinking lemon water or have some Sorbet to cleanse the palate. Works for me.

I don't get it as often as I used to. I keep at least 3 rtas and 1 rda in rotation, all have different flavors. Never lasts more than a day or two. Tongue scraper helps and more water.

I tough it was my tank, but i have 2.
Obs engine nano, and joytech delta 2. Juice this started with, hangsen tropical fruit flavor and halo turkish tobacco. Vaped halo before this happened, just got it again. Thats when i started to doubd its my gear.
Tho i read some have problem with flavor with the nano.

It's not pleasant when you develop "vaper's tongue". All the above can/might help. If I find the flavor really fall off and it's not because I forgot to rewick I'll just vape through it. Vaper's tongue doesn't interfere with the ability of you get the hand to mouth action of vaping and nic consumption. As it's all about staying off cigarettes, even if it doesn't taste the way I'd like, it's still keeps me from being tempted by a smoke.

So patience on the flavor issue to resolve, and know at least you're not smoking.

Managed to get a hint of taste today, but it died almost before i was finished inhaling and was very faint. Most of the day, faint hint of sweetness... Atm, i cant even taste that. Also feel the food and my morning coffe also taste much less.Used allot of pepper and chili and its just "meh". Hehe
Gonna pick up my nicotinebase tomorrow. I guess i will have more tasteless days, so gonna mix some nicotine with pg\vg and just vape that instead of using up all my halo. Ironically i vape more, its like im a crazy optimist believing next drag will taste something. Really hoping my taste will improve within this week, it even makes making a coil etc more difficult because i have no idea if i improved things or its worse compared to the first time.

Since you already are enjoying halo juice, you might grab a bottle or two of their menthol juices. while the flavor of the mint may "fade" you will still get the feeling from them. their mystic was always a favorite of mine when i got vape tongue, and kringles curse is one of my dirty little pleasures around this time too....

Looks like its improving, i can somewhat get a hint of the tobacco flavor today, so im optimistic.
