Gonna order some juice/aroma to have in my backpocket for the next time i experience this.
Also, im having some issues getting flavor in my obs engine nano. First time i wicked it, it was great. Now i allmost feel the joytech deta has more flavor. I let my ant try it, she also didnt taste that much. I rewicked it 4 times now, different coils and different ammount cotton.
I have no idea what i did right the first time. Anyone know where i can find a pic. That shows a good setup regarding ammount of cotton, coilplacement?
A bit offtopic. But tired and on my way to bed...

While you are waiting for the upper side of your tongue to heal, try letting the vapor go under your tongue and then exhale through the nose without inhaling into the lungs. Works for me. Gargle with salt water. Eat lemons and oranges and other citrus fruits.

Try a recoil and a new wick if it's rebuildable. If it's a premade factory coil, replace it.

If the above doesn't help, drink lots of water and wait for the flavor to return!

I don't know that piece of gear (too many these days to keep track) but my general rule of thumb is thus:

Loose enough that I can pull the wick left and right and there's no snagging but she still looks fluffy.

You want good amount of contact to wick/coil ratio, the more the better as that means more liquid is being vaporized per hit (although avoid wrapping it completely in my opinion). If you've got it stuffed too tight or even way too little then you'll know right away as that means dry hits are a'comin, or at the very least some odd flavors.

Sorry to hear about your vapers tongue. I switch flavors often which helps and I drink plenty of water. Some people keep a bottle of unflavored liquid on hand just for when they get burnt out on their usual lineup. Give your tastebuds some time to re-coop.

I've found that after not smoking for 5 years (woot!) I get vapers tongue less and less, or maybe I just don't notice it as much.

Hang in there and don't let it deter you!

Flavor is back. Been vaping on 3 different types of juice. Vaping a diy orange flavored tobacco juice thats better than expected. It mostly taste orange, think i mixed it a bit harsh. I but double++ nicotine in it, so had to water it down and just go with my gut.. Never mix when you almost fall asleep. 35-50mg is harsh on the throat. If i didnt suspect i mixed wrong, it would be a nasty surprise. Haha.

Oranges need steeping to smooth out. Next time you order flavors add FA MTS vape wizard to the cart. If used very sparingly it will smooth out harshness. 1-2 drop per 10ml, start with 1 drop.
