Yeah, I'm glad you're OK but....what were you thinking?

Apparently you're not the only one that got damaged. Read the reviews here:

This guy just tried a few dabs on a burrito:

I walked no more than a block before I started to feel odd. It was in the forties in Cleveland but I could feel the sweat forming on my brow. I walked another block and I could literally feel the burning sensation outlining my stomach. My breaths were noticeably faster and shorter. People on the street looked at me weird.

It seems like there is a new "Hottest Pepper in the World" every couple of years or so. Not too long ago it was the Red Savina® Habanero with a Scoville heat rating of 577,000 units. Now it is the Naga Jolokia (also known as the Naga Morris, Nai Miris, Bih Jolokia and Bhut Jolokia, etc.) with a whopping 1,001,304 Scoville Heat Units according to the New Mexico State University Chile Pepper Institute.

My hot ceiling is Taco Bell mild. Just a tad of heat is just fine for me. I can remember one authentic Mexican restaurant that made their own taco chip dip sauce. My lips started burning shortly after the first touch and were still numb 30 minutes later.

No more hot sauce for me unless it is measured and dispensed in microdots.

Being from CA I was sort of raised with it.
I like hot chili in Mexican, Thai and East Indian food etc
I can take quite a bit of heat as long as I have a beer nearby.
The hot chili bite actually signals the body to produce it's natural opiate chemicals - endorphins, that yields a sense of well-being and pleasure which of course goes well with good food and good company.

I'm afraid that brother Jay exceeded his body's ability to compensate, thus his "joy-ride" to the hospital.
