Yep that is a little sis and a bunch of 510's and a Riva on chargers in the background. I have a very messy desk and wasn't thinking when I took the pic. If my budget would allow it, I would probably get or make every mod that I could. I love Puck's premise of using readily available bats and parts though and am going to continue in that direction. I just need to find or make a case that isn't a special eBay order item. Then us girls can make a Pucker? or Puckette? that fit the hand a little easier.

I'm actually working on that myself. Even though it's not going to use the conventional battery box like the puck, I'm playing around with a 4 AAA battery holder that is two in front and two in back making it a bit more "rounded". This is just a battery holder though (bought at Radio shack) and am designing a small case to hold it all in. I still want to try and make it all locally available parts. I didn't give up on ya'll :) Still working on it.

Once I get it together, you all can name it something "girly" if you like :)

Thank you Puck for the great mod. I made a Puck and then the SD. I use a 510 connector and cartos usually and both mods vape great and last long. I am looking around for a more rounded type battery case for us girls though because even the SD is...well ....just too brick shaped. If I am successful, what will we call it?

I must say... really nice job on those Pucks :)

I don't think this is what you had in mind but it's kinda funny! adult content! lol

Hmmmm..... I actually saw a mod made out of the battery case from a vibrating egg adult toy. But I don't think that satisfies the common, easy to find criteria, think that would require a "special" order or trip downtown. Come on now..... no lipstick tubes, no glitter or rhinestones, good god, please, NO PINK. (unless it's for cancer awareness)

That would be awesome if 4 AAA batteries would fit into one of those but unfortunetly, I doubt you could get even two of them in one. No matter what we do, it's gonna have to be bigger than that :)

Anything you do will have to have 4AAA batteries and the holder, in whatever configuration, will not be small. There's no getting around that. A flashlight insert holds 4AAA....maybe something there.

The only flashlights I can find are ones that use 3AAAs. I could find none that use 4 and I have been searching everywhere. There is one that uses 4 but it is almost 12 inches long. I also looked for one of those round battery holders that are used in those 3aaa batteries except in a 4AAA configuration and no one makes them. Not even China.

So for now, until someone invents a 4 AAA flashlight we can use, We'll have to stick to Radio shack's squared 4 AAA battery holder (not the box) to create our gizmo around. Remember, my design criteria is always... it has to be something you can preferably get local or easily obtainable for next to nothing.

And by the way, 2 AAA batteries side by side in a group of 4 are about 3/4 of an inch. That's not that big :)

I was wondering about using this;

4X AAA capacity, battery power indicator lights, comes in several colors, and you could just switch out the led for a connector. They also make some that have a usb charging plug on them to charge the nimhs with, but those look a little more complicated. Do a search for NDS or PSP emergency charger for additional units.

Could be promising.....

I'm working on this one and will see if I can mod it. WAY thin and light weight. If possible, it will take some doin'

No need to wait for what is already invented.....4AAA and 7 bucks. I've seen plenty that hold 4

Interesting. I probably missed that since I did most of my searches with flashlight. This is a bike light. What I'm mainly after is that battery holder. Nobody has had anything like that when a searched a few weeks ago.

The only bad thing is this is something you have to order. I really want to create something from local materials. That is my design philosophy and I'm stick'n to it :)

I have a PSP charger but it doesn't supply enough current for vaping becuase it has too much regulation circuitry but this... using 4 Nimhs peaks my interest. It's kind of stylish also.
