I had made some sleepy tea extract a couple weeks ago and mixed a small batch of juice with it. It was pretty good too.

Without thinking, I'd mixed that with nic, like any other juice.

I'd been on 2mg for at least 6 months. About one month ago I started mixing at 1mg. Who knows how much of that I'm actually absorbing ... I can be an extreme chain vaper, so it's got to be some negligible amount, right?

Well last night, I ran out of my sleepy time mix. Mixed up a batch with the same level of flavoring.. But zero nic!

Now I get to play the "see if I get nic cravings at night" game.

I'm not "excited" to be down to 0mg, but I'm curious to find out if there's a real difference to me between 1mg and 0mg.

Somewhere on top of the world
Adeline,

I wish the best of luck to you. I jumped the gun and went from 4mg to 0mg for about 2 days. I had all the typical symptoms of nic withdrawal so I quickly went back to 4mg. I'm now at 12mg, I guess it's more of a mind game but I couldn't stay calm when I went back to 4mg, then 6, then 10. 12mg was the magic number for some reason. Anyway, do you feel more satisfied with your tea mixes or your tobacco mixes, or is it just more about the time of the day for you? Just wondering because I can't vape tea flavors, can't stand them. I wish I liked tea because it seems there are alot of folks who enjoy it and I'm wondering if the tea extract is duplicating the tobacco sensation for what ever reason. Anyway, all the best of luck to you my friend..(it's not luck, it's persistance!!)

You might be getting more nic in some foods you eat!

LOL ... that might require I eat vegetables. Which I just don't do enough of.. :p

Good luck Adeline!

Thanks!!

It's definitely too early to step down completely to 0mg. But it'd be nice to know if I can handle it!

I vape at 4mg, might not seem like much but I chain vape .. so it's actually a lot on a per hour basis. If I drop down to zero I get nic withdrawal LOL, so I think 4 is the lowest I can go. Wish I could go to zero ..best of luck.

Thanks!

I stepped down slowly .. 6mg to 3mg.. down to 2mg. I made the mistake of trying to move to 1mg pretty much immediately. Didn't work. So that's why I stayed at 2mg for so long. Then one day I thought about it and just moved down to 1mg. I haven't noticed any difference at all.

The 0mg went well last night. Hadn't had any nic at all until right now. No ill effects that I noticed. Granted, I had no one to be cranky at, so meh. :p

Sorry, thought I got it wrong. REally at 1 mg gong to zero might not be too bad but how is it going?

LOL .. I'm just working the 0 nic into my diet. 1 month isn't long enough that I feel comfortable switching completely. Plus I have hundreds of mls of 1mg steeping!

0mg at night for now .. I should mix up more than just the one flavor though.

And how did it go? It went fine. I didn't notice any difference to be honest. But that's the point of stepping down 1mg at a time.

And to think I used to vape 18mg!!!

And to think I used to vape 18mg!!!

ha ha I know what you mean. I started almost 3 yrs ago at 36mg! Then I cut down slowly, slowly and ended up at 4mg about 1 1/2 yrs ago. Have stayed at 4mg ever since but might be ready to move down another notch too. Your thread is inspiring me to perhaps go from 4mg down to 2mg. I doubt I will ever go to zero .. yikes, I think just psychologically I need to know there's some nic in there, even if it's just a tiny bit .. a mind game I play with myself LOL.

I went from 6mg to omg by doing DIY. I just vaped samples with 0 nic, I just noticed that i wasn't vaping my 6mg anymore. After 9 months of vaping zero, when I do try some of my old 6mg, I notice the strong taste of nicotine that I never noticed before. I really had no idea that the nic, even at 6mg, was such a strong flavor component. That's why I've been using WL Ice to mix juice for my friends.
