Yessiree Bub! Been sucking on my KR808d-1 passthru for 3 days now... loving it and understanding why many folks claim the 5v vape is the mecca of vaping... of course, I spent those 3 days doing hardcore research on big bat mods... and I'm happy to say that the Xhaler is the winner! And I have to tell you why...

1) Aesthetics-Sure it's hard to compete with the Chucks on this one, but I've looked over all the designs on their website, and tbh, they look nice, but I'll put the standard, black vapor design up against any of them... that is one, sharp piece of hardware!

2) Ingenuity-That whole using-the-cap-as-a-resistor thing is way cool... I don't know crap about electronics, but it still seems ingenious to me somehow... probably cuz it confuzzled many of you... LOL

4) Overall Design-I'm not sure how I feel about the button being at the other end... and I do prefer the huge, SB button... but ultimately, what sold me on the button was the post by Wormwood about putting a cartomizer, rubber-thingy on it to keep it from going of in the pocket... that was the final straw in selling points for me...

5) Website-Very well-done and easy to order from, as far as I can tell... it was easy enough to fill the cart, but I haven't made the actual purchase yet, so can give a full comment... oh, and the only complaint I have about the wesite... the ingredient in Lung juice called Mulletein Leaf is actually supposed to be Mullein Leaf... I've used it before, and I can tell you firsthand that it does thin out the mucus... makes it easier to expectorate from the lungs...

Okay, thanks to Drew for creating an incredible device, and thanks to Wormwood for pushing me over-the-edge with his wonderful idea of using the cartomizer part for a button-guard!

I'm off to order now...

Not ot toot my own horn or anything but you forgot to mention that you can take delivery immediatleyand the price with 2 tips included is cheaper than any other Mods...It is lighter and works at more voltages than any stcock mod...You can also have it customized by another member here including any graphics paint or even jewels installed for very little money...I also wanted to anounce that I just had all the bodies honed to run 17670 batteries and will have those in stock next week....ALSO iahev all the tips in stock to run Be1112 Atomizers AND last but not least I will have High Voltage atties in stock to run at any voltage you want with the 16340 (3.7) batteries...I guess thats why I won (in your opinion)...
Thanks

Nah, toot away, man!

And that's good to know about the customizing option... but one of these days I'll mosl likely make a chainmaille wrap or carrying strap for it... but the stock designs you have on the site are very cool. Besides, who cares what it looks like... who's going to be able to see it when you have a big, lusty cloud of white velvet wrapped around your noggin... :D

Confirmation is in...

Has it shipped yet? Has it shipped yet?

I have to so say I research THE HELL out of everything before making a purchase. I studied HV mods for months and went with the xhaler.

I was not disappointed, Drew thank you so much for all your hard work you put into this.

As do I...

Hey, we all ..... for our money, so we like to make wise buying choices... Heck, if it wasn't for my sense of thrift, I could've ended up with one of them scammmer e-cigs from a commercial... or a mall kiosk! 8-o

Ooooh, I'm interested! Any more info? Will they be available in 510, 901...price? Is it correct to assume that they will last longer if they are MADE for HV?

Also, will the newer 801 tips allow airflow to standard 801 atty's without modification to the atty?

Thanks,

Ed

I had to wait until my check cleared this morning, but I've finally pulled the trigger and placed the order for my first "Mod" and it will be the Xhaler! It was so bad that I was actually waiting in my online banking account for the funds to be released so I could submit the order.

Finally I get to find out for myself what all the fuss is over HV vaping. Since I've been a 510 user, I got that adapter...only got the 2x3V batteries because it sounds like 5V/6V is what I need, but I made sure to add an 801 and a 901 atomizer to the order so I can compare.

Besides, I figure the best way to respond to the draconian bill passed by the NJ legislature yesterday is to buy a "electronic smoking device that can be used to deliver nicotine or other substances to the person inhaling from the device, including, but not limited to, an electronic cigarette, cigar, cigarillo, or pipe, or any cartridge or other component of the device or related product." from New Jersey.

I will do that. I haven't tried the blue foam mod in my 510 yet. Since getting my first order of samplers from Drew, I've been too busy dripping one flavor at a time to bother filling any carts for a while...but I suppose I'm going to need to get back in the cart habit to prevent burning out attys at high voltage.

to send me a sample of the blue foam.. I have been using on one of my greencart mods and my 801 and 510 for the xhaler..
with the xhaler I am really loving the blue foam with the 801 atty at 5volts just be sure to 1/4 turn the 801 atty off brass top , will give best airflow and flavor and vaping experience in my opinion.. I am loving the Drewbacco on the 801! YUM!

Better get the cart mod just right to avoid popping attys at 5-6v. Most people recommend dripping, a few get by with cart mods. Personally, I use a PTB mod, drip 2 in the atty and 4 in the cart. That way I get good hits without risking a totally dry atty or flooding it. At high voltages too much liquid will boil and not taste very good.

No fear of that with this mod! Hell, i'm holding the button down forever while taking a hit just trying to punish the atty and the mod wicks well enough to hold up to all that abuse and no dry atty or hot atty!

I've only killed 2 attys in the past from HV and both times i blew them out cause they were extremely flooded from dripping. On the next hit.. death! Thats one from the first time vaping on HV with 510 atty on the SB and the other time was the 801 on the Xhaler.

Drippin = too messy and a hassle for me. Also kills attys sooner and clogs them up. Lets not forget about all that juice in the mouth for the bonus.. oh and cleaning the attys all the time.
