I feel as though the Andromeda was a very good value but I love the chip and am willing to pay more for fabulous machining because I appreciate it. Other people value different things which works great for me.
I'm not the type of person who thinks the rest of the world should share my personal preferences.
I've recommended Reos to others but I only like regulated devices and don't like fussing with Kicks. I would be very doubtful that the cost of machining a Reo versus an Andromeda would be similar. Also, the SX350 chip isn't a bargain as well as taking additional labor to install. Plain SX350 boxes are usually $200+.
