The iPad or other tablet style PCs. But the iPad does not have Flash, so IMO it is not better than a laptop (or tablet that does have flash) I will admit, I STILL want one, even though it is inferior, because it is like a HUGE iPhone LOL er well iPod Touch...
When do the festivities begin? Class my dear when will you be arriving?

Tablets are a long way from replacing any useful laptop. They replace netbooks fairly well though. As long as it's an Android laptop not subject to the Apple cabal. ;-) -Magnus

The replacement for me would be a 20 years old with funky blue hair that majored in resume writing.
I don't know what the replacement for the laptop is.
LOL oooh I am 24, no blue at the moment, and I was working on a medical degree. So it is not me
LOL just kidding. About the not me part, I am 24, and no blue now (did have blue 8 months ago), and I was working towards a nursing degree. The plan was to work as a nurse in MA live making 100k a year (had a job waiting for me) and live with family up there so I could bank all but say 2k a month to pay for Medical School. I was a 4.0 student in college, so I was planning on going to either FSU (great medical program, and close to my immediate family here in FL) or Harvard, which is close to my extended family up in MA.I am excited about this weekend though! I am hyper even. It is the same feeling you get as a child the day before Christmas.
Hopefully it is a great experience, not like one year when ALL my toys required batteries and both my parents thought the other had gotten them. (This was prior to 24 hour Walmart/Walgreens/CVS/Eckerd's/Rite Aid.) So LAME!
