Unfortunately same thing keeps happening, the unit just shuts off and will not work until the battery is pulled out and even then it may still not work for a few minutes - this is really ridiculous.
This happens with any V4L cartomizers I own in different OHMs. Also sounds like something is loose inside the tube, I pulled the battery out and can hear something bouncing around in the tube. The button needs to be pressed fairy hard or it will not fire, also noticed if I keep the unit up right it fires but if I turn it towards me (like holding a cigarette) then the unit will not fire. Also the cut off time is sometimes is less than 5 seconds or sometimes while pressing the button it will fire for 2 seconds then stop and then start again.
This is just one problem on top of another and another and this is a brand new device.

Unless someone has a suggestion on how to maybe fix it I am calling V4L first thing Monday morning.

Hope to hear back from V4L forum folks here.

Does anyone know what that error message is “Master!” right before the unit shuts off - or did I receive a special one of a kind VV OMG?

PS: and what’s with the date resetting every time the battery is pulled out, really stupid option. I wonder what nut drew that idea up on the blue print when designing this mod.

When you shut it off it says "goodbye, my master". So it is shutting its self off and you are catching the end of the off message. Sounds like you got a bad unit. But try taking the head off and putting it back on. As I said my review, or maybe in this thread, that helped me. Is the battery fully charged? And is the battery indicator showing fully charged?

Sadly though I think you might have gotten a bad unit. V4L has awesome customer service. Also a 30 day, money back guarantee. And 90 day warranty. They will take care of you!

Also vadium search vision tox on YouTube. This is a updated version of that device. And read my review on here. It will give you a better outlook on this device. Most of the issues with the tox were supposed to be addressed. Obviously it seems like some were and some weren't. But I still think you just got a defective device.

I have been using mine for the last 3 days now and have been pretty rough on it. The only ongoing issue I have is that the voltage seemes way lower than the display says.

Thank you Dirtay J,

YES!!! That is what must be happening it shutting itself off; hmm maybe I am turning it off accidently?
How do you turn it ON and OFF? Nothing about that in the instructions.
Battery is fully charged.

Will do, need to drive my kid to her friends house right now.

Once again thank you and will call V4L Monday to request a replacement unit.

Also the battery may be fully charged, but is the device showing it as full. It almost seems like it is shutting down like the battery is dead. Also what cart/tank are you using and what voltage are you trying to vape at? If its a tank that came with it try around 4.1 - 4.5. Have you tried different carts/tanks?

It's 5 off and 5 on

Just re-checked and it is 5 & 5 - thank you.

I only own V4L carts, some 2.5 (red) ones and cool carts 3.0 (blue) which i mostly enjoy on my own 5 VV box.
The tanks are also from V4L, dual & single coil cartos, mostly use dual - 2.0 2.5 - when the OMG works it seems to do well at 4.7v with dual 2.0ohm cart in the tank.

Once again the fire button just does not fire or if fires then stops after 3 to 5 seconds.

Oh by the way, the battery meter in the display does show full charged battery.

Like you said i must have received a bad made unit.

Agree it sounds like a bad unit, particularly if there is loose stuff rattling around! If the fire button also triggers on/off, is it possible you're vaping too quickly 5 times in a row? This is a problem on other devices (including the provari) where menus are triggered by accident when the fire button is part of the menu sequence.

Here is the small video upload, please bring up your sound a bit higher. Video shows how I am pressing down on the power button and how OMG-VV keeps on NOT firing. Carto is a brand new V4L RED at 2.3 ohms. It acts same way when I take a vape and same way with any other cartos.

Also noticed that it does NOT always turn off when clicking it 5 times, on the 3rd try it did turn off. I don't want to bash down V4L but the unit I received is clearly badly made. I will expect a full refund.
