DHL sucks!

I am the shipper at the warehouse I work at so I deal with many couriers on a daily basis and this time last year I thought DHL was only for "special" people who couldn't quite fit in to regular society. I found the past few months the service has somewhat improved. They still aren't my first choice though.....not by a long shot. And neither is UPS

I'm amazed as the stuff I've been hearing about HC. Granted it's been forever since I have been on the other side of the Lakes but always thought of Canada being more laid back than the US.

With some of the policies involved with some things going on in BC you'd think nicotine would be a non-problem. And down here we get spammed with "Canadian Pharmacy" emails.

I'm looking at the problems you guys are having getting juice and hardware and thinking it might only be a matter of time before the problem comes to my front door. Because we Canadians don't want to confront the specific individuals directly involved in making these decisions. We don't put them on the spot. We always refer to them as "government". And we watch too many movies about the evil of big tobacco companies and with big brother themes. In reality, these guvment officials are just like you and me who regularly wait for paychecks every two weeks or so. We use big words and imagine things like the guvment is in collusion with big evil tobacco companies. In reality in Canada tobacco companies are the most sued companies and they have very little influence in guvment decisions.

here is a shipping tale for you...kinda customs/waiting/odd thing type of stuff.

I have ordered an ultrasonic cleaner from amazoon (my little one from China didnt cut it anymore)...

After I got the confirmation notice via e-mail,I realised that they were shippign via UPS.....argh....no mentin of that prior.

Oh well.

Yesterday I got the notification of imminent arrival...swell,I am about to start another round of 1st attempt/2nd attempt/call them make an address switch to my work place,etc/them trying again at home,3rd delivery strike out/come see us please/I cant/but but.

Same old,same old.

This afternoon I left work at the usual time,took the bus,went to metro,take the other bus....all drivers were driving sloooowly...light traffic....didnt matter.

I arrived at my corner,said good day to driver,dropped out of the bus.

At the corner,there is a UPS truck waiting for the green light....I told to myself: "wth,lets ask him".

Well,would you believe it,he was just home to deliver and obviously I wasnt there,but made the delivery at the street corner instead

i dont mind UPS at all, i have someone at reception 24/7 that can accept packages... it becomes a problem only when i never actually get the package delivered to me lol

BT is not really BT in Canada. No lobby. No power. Canadian Government makes the lions share of tobacco profits (taxes are more than 50%). So maybe smokers are just more loyal to the economy than non smokers (lol).

Seriously - Big Pharma has the lobby.

HC routinely sues tobacco companies. But they sponsor laws that help BP.

update on this one, called dhl quite a few times about why I haven't received my shipment yet and why it saying that i refused the package when in fact I didn't and I never actually got to me. A few of the reps tried to pass it off to me as oh customs seized it and only released the empty box and we tried to deliver you a empty box with and still have a COD bill for you to pay for a empty package. It gets even more complicated as I never received the box and the address its marked under has someone at reception 24/7 so no freaking way it slipped by... wtf, first off customs does not release empty boxes... they ether refuse entry to the whole shipment or they let it pass.

After quite a few calls i got one of them to talk to there superiors and there now confirming that the package is not empty and that i should be receiving it tomorrow. Shesh no wonder DHL stands for Damaged, Hurt and Lost... now all i have to do is wait till tomorrow to see if i actually get my package and if there content missing from it or not. I'm seriously reconsidering ever shipping with DHL at this moment with this crap. At this point whenever there is a problem they obviously don't know what they are doing and just make up lies hoping u believe whatever they say.

OMG Song that sucks! ... and what gives with the tracking status updates that read "recipient refused delivery"? .. They should not be allowed to put that!?

I see you posted this a couple of days ago, so my prayers are with you brother that all went well with your package!

Got a couple packages stuck here and there,looks like the postal services everywhere is still stuck in holidays....

Yeah tell me about it :S ... my mom sent me a card with money and a box of clothes and I have yet to receive either!

Canada Post is messin with my vape funds, and I am not happy! ...

Heh,my package that was in vancouver on the 31st...still no updates on the website :/

I had 2 orders coming from TFA,1 ordered the 25th,the 2nd the 26th (I know,I know)...I got the one from the 26th 1st,the one from 25th 1 day later.

The order from 26th had no updates at all on Canada Post...nothing...then it came.

Still right now (its been delivered) you check the website and it shows "we were not able to find any resuls"

They are messed up.

Its got to be Canada Post ... a few members have posted lamentations regarding their long postal waits ... me included. I hope WE don't have to wait much longer.... no one should be delayed or denied their vaping goodies!

update on the dhl package, apparently they did try to deliver me a empty freaking package and stick me with COD for custom clearance when they cleared nothing but the box. I'm suspecting that the package cleared and someone stole all the contents because I never freaking heard of customs removing everything from a package and releasing a empty freaking box

Shut the Front Door! ... are you serious?? They actually delivered you an empty box and slapped you with a COD bill to boot?!! ... Song what are you going to do? There has to be something you can do, and there has to be some accountability for the missing contents too!
