Still pretty new here so I apologize if this isn't the right place for this...Just didn't know who else to ask

So, I placed an order for a SS King for a friend because he liked mine so much.

Order was placed on 12/9
Shipped 12/10 via singpost
According to Singpost it was dispatched on 12/21
According to USPS processed through sort facility in Los Angeles on 12/26 but with no other activity

I called USPS and they have no record of this package....hmm

I guess my question is, who do you think has my package? USPS? SingPost?
What else can I do besides opening a ticket with FT

To top it all off, I was bragging to my friend about how great FT is lol.

Well if tracking says processed through sort in LA, then they are in the postal system within the US. It could be held up in customs, which would not be unusual for this time of the year however, I am more concerned that you called USPS and they told you they have no record of your package which at this point is IMPOSSIBLE... You need to call back and demand to speak to a Supv. There is a tracking# which means this package can be tracked, DO NOT take no for an answer when you call.

no means no, unless you're dealing with customer service.

Thought it was strange also. When I called the automated system would not let me speak to a rep because it said they didn't have any info and to contact the sender. So I couldn't even speak to a real person! I have already sent two emails to USPS regarding this issue and still NO responses! :(

If it says ICS Los Angeles - it is in customs - Still, it should show as sitting there.(no movement)

Next Step is:
Processed through USPS Sort Facility - Los Angeles
Then:
Depart USPS Sort Facility - Los Angeles

After this it may or may not track until delivered. Mine rarely track until they reach my States Sort facility and arrive the next day.

Copy pasted from USPA tracking:

December 26, 2013 , 5:56 pm
Processed Through Sort Facility
ISC LOS ANGELES CA (USPS)

Origin Post is Preparing Shipment

December 21, 2013 , 4:38 pm
Processed Through Sort Facility
SINGAPORE S?5, SINGAPORE

I'm in CA about 30 miles east of Los Angeles, so usually, once in LA sort I'll get the package in about 4-5 business days. So it sounds like It's being held up in customs...

Could that be the reason why when I called they couldn't provide any additional info? I just figured they would at least provide some additional info

Thats like when I first get a notice that a package has shipped, and I go to check tracking, you know how sometimes it will say information not available or whatever? It could be that since it finally made it into LA and hasnt moved out of LA yet that its not going to show anything. Not sure though.

There is a remote possibility it has been held up by Customs or even returned to sender. Could also be sitting in an oops Bin waiting for someone to see why it is there.(Fell from a conveyor or cart)

Still, USPS should be able to give an answer, even if it is - it's still with customs. It Has to be in the system or you would not have this much info.

I have bought items on ebay with the same result. It takes for ever to get here from china. In my case it went pass 30 days and couldn't get my refund and will only buy state side from now on. At least you show some movement and think it will get to you just give it time this is the busiest time of year for any delivery service..gl

Is FT usually pretty good with orders? 1st time purchaser from them and mine shipped 3 days ago, hope it gets here before March

Yes Fasttech is good with orders. Once it ships though, it is out of their hands. People love to dump every issue back on the Vender, but Venders do not deliver goods. Shipping services do and if out of country, 2 customs services are in the mix. Outgoing customs and in coming customs. These are the 2 biggest delay points.

Sometimes, I don't mind the wait....other times I get inpatient and end up paying a few extra ducket to get someing asap. I'll follow up with USPS tomorrow but hopefully its just stuck in the post holiday madness/customs

I'm jealous of you for getting your vapemail before me btw. Lol
