When I first got the MAP I filled it up and within 3 hours I had a puddle of juice. I could clearly see that it was leaking around the lower and upper o-ring. No problem. Drained it, washed it, put it all back together. Everything was fine for a half a day then I noticed it started to leak again, this time from the bottom of the CE2 (middle of the connector that you push out to drain the juice). I then reseated it and to no avail, it still continued to leak. I tried taking it apart and reseating it several more times but nothing. It still leaks. After all that, I screwed it back on to the device and tried to vape with it, it wouldn't let me. It seems that the airway was blocked. It was like sucking on a straw with one end closed. I've watched all the videos and read here on ECF on how to fix it but nothing seems to work. I contacted Bruce and am awaiting a reply. What do you guys think, can this be fixed? When it worked for that short period, I was in vape heaven, but now I'm just about ready to give up on this thing.

Hey Guys,
Just want to say a thing here. If ur tank leaks from any other area than what I'm talking about, then Bruce will help you out, but I have said b4 and still happens to me as it isn't a Tank problem, just a CE2 seating not correctly in the upper part of the delrin and that contributes to either the CE2 not up all the way or the middle of the air passage from the CE2 pushed down too far.
What I mean here is the silicone of the CE2 has to sit up into the top delrin bushing. You should see about 1/16 or a hair bit more on that silicone washer that sits on the ceramic cup of the CE2. If the silicone isn't up into the bushing like it is suppose to be, then the liquid will flow into the cup and down the air passage of the CE2 which in turn will leak onto the battery connection. This was and is the ONLY leaking I have had until I was able to reseat my CE2. The small piece of the SS sleeve that is used for the Drip Tip to go into, has to be into the bushing just enough to allow the CE2 to go up into the bushing far enough and this should prevent liquid from going into the air way. I have been able to fill me Tank all the way now (exactly 5.2ml of juice) and this was measured out by a syringe. Although I did have a very little bit of excess liquid go down the air way, I can say this is working for me once I was able to find out why I had the liquid go into the air passage of the CE2.
This was the only leaking I ever had. Still loving the MAP Tank and today I find I'm getting a new Mod (VV) for my wedd. annvrsry.. WooHoo!!
Now I can play more with the Tank when I get this in May of some time.. LOL..

Stu, I've gotta figure that trick out. So far after playing with the mini that's the only "leak" I've had. It basically floods down the atty air shaft when filled all the way up to the ceramic cup. I see it as a very minor thing. I just blow it out a few times and its vaping heaven.

I've also noticed its not as bad with my 80-90% vg juices. So viscosity definitely helps here.

+1 to Stubear...... Play with it. Be gentle to it. Look at how it works and follow what Stubear said. I have 3 maps and 2 mini's... My Maps do not leak at all and I have replace all of the CE2 to the ohms I like. NO LEAKS. I haven't even tried the mini's yet - I have no worries that they will leak! AND if the mini's do leak - I know that I will just have to readjust the inside guts. These things are awesome folks. There is no doubt about it. These are a solid and very high quality made product and I know Bruce with COV stands behind it. I just wish I came up with the design - these could pay for my kids college funds.

If you have leaks reread what Stubear wrote up above and your problems are solved !!!!!!! Everyone needs to own a Map Tank and they will understand the joy that I am experiencing!!!!

Thanks Bruce for believing in these and getting them available to us! How is your progress going as far as moving out to SanDiego. I hope you do! then my shipping should only take 1 day! lol
