Another Newbie question :) - Battery

I just got my joyetech ego and I have tried it and it is great . However I charged the battery for about 8 hours and the LED light on the charger never turned green. I also have a 510-T and that did the same thing. After the 8 hour mark, I gave up and started using the ecig.
Is this a known issue with the device?

Call the vendor and see if they will send you a new charger out. Better yet get an extra too, just in case it happens again. You really don't want to fool around with a faulty charger

I have the old charger which used to turn green, however, with the newer rapid chargers the light stays red. The only way I know when charging is complete is when the light on the battery itself turns green. Hope this makes some sense to you - reading it back, seems like I just spit out double talk....

My eGo Ws have a safety feature that if you click it five times rapidly, it shuts off. Same thing to turn it back on. When my second eGo W kit arrived, I charged the batteries but they seemed dead. I thought I got two dead batteries.. until I remembered about the clicking 5 times thing. Basically, they were off.. and I just felt dumb for complaining to the supplier that I got two dead batteries. They said they'd gladly replace the batteries, but I had to reply and be all like, "Durr.. never mind, my bad."

How can you tell with a Volt if the battery is fully charged?
