Another Noob Here with proof!

Hey everyone!

I made the switch from analogs to the Blu ecig kit a little less than a month ago and have not looked back. Only smoked about 3/4 of a pack of Marloboro 72's a day so the switch wasn't hard for me at all. I wanted to quit smoking for some of the obvious reasons such as wasted money,smell,ashes all over the place, disgusting ashtray emptying and of course to breath better and live longer. I was not 100% satisfied with my Blu ecig experience so I started Googling and YouTubing and found GrimmGreen, P.Busardo, AmandaEmxoxo and you guys here and saw there was whole other world out there dealing with ecigs. I have tried a few juices and bought a couple clearomizers to try them in. At the current moment I am trying to get into the black after spending $90 on the Blu kit(what a waste), some juice and a couple of clearomizers before I start looking into upgrading again to the next non-noobish level. Here is what I am using at the moment. Feel free to laugh and point. Besides the constant battery recharging it is keeping me from going back to analogs so I am happy for now. I look forward to sharing many more photo's as I move up in the vaping world! Thanks for having a place to turn to for answers.

congrats! stick with it, it only gets better!! As far as saving money goes, as someone else here has said "I have to hide my credit card from myself" I started with the ego, went to a twist, got a segelei zmax telescope and have a mechanical on order.... not to mention all the assorted delivery systems and diy juice doo daas....love this hobby!!

After looking through the forums here and watching a couple hundred videos, my set up seemed comical to me. I think an eGo Twist is in my near future. That would be a huge step up from the batteries I am using now. Oh, and I have a lot more funny avatars where that came from!

Tried to find you a killer price on an Ego type 650, but no luck yet. A couple of those in rotation can keep you going for a few months while you decide just how crazy you want to get.
I got into Vaping to break a 45yr habit. Soon discovered I enjoy it and like the hobby of collecting. Not saving any money(yet) but getting all the other advantages and enjoying life.

Welcome to ecf. I went Blu than bloog then v2 then bull smoke then a mod threw it all away. Went back to bloog then the evic mod then the provari. Now I'm working on tanks and juices. The month of may will be high end juices. Good luck have fun need help just ask.

I want something that gives good flavor and awesome vapor. I am not one who needs a hard throat hit though. Just something nice and smooth like a Screw Driver, not Jack on the Rocks. That make sense?

If it bothers you, you can get a smaller clearo, like the Nano, or a bigger battery, like the Twist.

Or you can just enjoy what you've got!

Well well well STR8 Aim, you learned the first rule of vaping. Always have backups, backups, and more backups. I actually threw a Blu cart on an eGo type battery. That sucked, but worked. The flavor lasted an hour, then on to the next one. Then the mail came.

Its just a SmokeTech ReDux 1.8ohm Clearomizer I picked up from a local ecig shop. I took my Blu batteries in with me and it fit and it was only $8 so I went with it. The Blu cartos did not last as long as they say they do and with limited funds(after blowing $90 on the Blu setup) I went with a better juice container than a better battery for now. It vapes 1000x's better than the Blu carto's so I am happy with it until I can get a better battery.

Ahem... Bottom of the pile? Hardly.

FWIW, there are many, many ECF vets who use eGos exclusively. There are also many vapers who prefer super mini batteries and are more than happy to deal with the inconveniences that come with that setup.

We are just less vocal than the big-bad-mod crowd.

If you like your eGos, enjoy them. They are very very good, they look nice, they come in pretty colors and in variable voltage, and you don't have to spend a fortune to own several of them.

Blu batteries are 510 threaded. Anything with a 510 connection will work on them.

I have even cleaned out my Blu carto's and added some new juice to them. To me they still taste like the juice that was in them before no matter how many times I try and clean them out. One was a menthol though and the fruity juice I added to it was rather nice. So I am recycling as much as I can to get to that next level of savings to buy something cool!
