I've switched from 25 fat RYO, unfiltered a day (27 years or so of smoking) to vaping (with the very occasional RYO - 2/5 a month, g/f smokes, grr!). There's something I really miss about the stinkies although I can't put my finger on it - it's got to be physiological.
I'm the last person who I and my friends thought would give up
After 3-4 months I've really suffered with the coughs etc. Glad to feel that my lungs are finally having a proper go at cleaning themselves up
I'm mainly using: Tornado-C, Tornado-Twist, Mad Vapes VV box mod (more about this below) or my Screwdriver MKII (my first mod) as power supplies. DCTs or CE4 (Stardusts?) for my juices. Mixing my own bar "Black Jacks", a UK sweet from my youth, aniseed(ish) but not just aniseed.
Loving the MV box but by 'eck, it eats the batteries (2x 14500 @ 900mA/h). I've been drawn to the LM2596 thread in Mods-batteries and have really appreciated the info. I've ordered 2 of the boards from China approx 10 days ago along with some LED voltage displays.
Unfortunately I'm not allowed to post in Mods but would like to share this link of a new board I found. It's a LM2596 but has terminals to pull the chip out of standby.
I'm not sure if this is a discrete to pin 5 of the chip, some on the above thread are lifting Pin 5 leg and soldering a resistor and switch in.
