Looks good Imperfectutopia, but you need more Cartos!!! You WILL destroy some in your first few weeks - goes with the territory.. Also, the 1.25ohm is too low for the kGo and could short out your battery. Stick with 1.5-2.0ohm for now, and order at least 10 (in a variety - try a 5pk of boge 2.0, 5 smoketek 1.7 - both dual coil) It won't be all that much more expensive, and you WILL need them

Okay - you need the kGo kit - that's a given
You need a variety of cartos to figure out what you like/don't like, and so you don't wind up reverting to stinkies while waiting for replacements to the ones you've accidentally scorched or otherwise mangled
you need at least one DRIPTIP - you don't want your mouth on the carto itself - they get HOT
I didn't add liquid for you - but you already know you need that

Edited to add: You'll notice that there is a set of single coil cartos added to that order - you might find that you prefer them to the dual coil - it's a good way to find out

It's gotta be an Ego style kit if your starting out to get the full benefit, the mah relates to the battery capacity not to get confused with the voltage but the overall capacity ie how of the power it can deliver and over a longer period.
To keep it simple to use low res cartomisers etc it's recommended to use a battery over 480 mah Ego batteries come in 3 sizes the standard ego starts at 650 mah then a mid sized at 900 mah and then a bigger 1100 mah.
I started on a Riva kit some moons ago which was a good starting point, it depends if size is an issue, I think most starting out coming off the stinkies want something ciggy like that tastes like a cig that will soon change, power and flavour will take over.
The Ego type batts is the place to start

Nice, i didnt realize the low resistance would short.. Honestly just didnt want the SS... So the mouthpeices are required huh.. had no idea. My experience is limited to this little Blu disposable which doesnt have them.. haha. Thanks guys

Cheekymonkey pretty much summed it up to be honest, you'll find as your vaping develops that so will your taste's, I think most vapers follow similar path's not always but mostly, most start out with the Ego type batteries and start moving on to other mods mainly for bigger battery mods, another good starter if starting out on a bigger battery mod is the Indulgence V3 it's a great mod at the price also the Lavatube. Can't speak for others but myself if I started vaping again I'd probably look at some of the bigger battery mod's cause you probably end up with one. But the ego is a good starter.

Cheeky definitely steered you right! When I saw that you were going to order those 1.5ohms.... EEEEGADS! I hope somebody corrects that!! Good ol cheeky to the rescue. You are going to LOVE that KGO... it's all I use. One thing I've found is that I prefer single coil cartos,, i have some dual coils and they're ok, but I seem to get a better vape from the singles.. you'll figure out what you like. And actually, when you first start,, they'll all be pretty fabulous! Amazing how easy the transition is. Let the mailman stalking begin!!!

Cool, cool.. Thanks everyone again.. A few more q's... For those of you who have a Kgo, what is the physical size? I've yet to find it either measured or pictured next to something of a known size..

I got my KGO from hoosier just last week and really like it. I hope you got the kit with two KGO,s included. Good idea to have backups.

If still interested the dimensions of the KGO are: .550 Dia x 3.8 in Long and 5.25 overall length with a Boge lr carto less any drip tip.

My sweet spot on the KGO is 2.0 ohms for most juices, 1.7 on a few that seem to benefit from a bit more wattage. Lots of personal taste range when it comes to this stuff. My guess is for a newer vaper the 1.25ohm DC might have been a little hot anyway, apart from the unsuitability to the battery.

edited to add: my experience has been that coffee flavors need at least a week to steep. And you may not like either of the flavors you ordered - If I were you, I would go check out ECBlends (or another vendor), and order a handful of their 5ml bottles in various flavors and strengths so you can figure out what you like and you'll have some backups if the cherry and coffee aren't to your taste when they arrive

ego mega dual coils, EMDCC

Was thinking about one of these, since i saw a photo of one and how it mates up seamlessly.. Is it good? 1.5 ohm resistance too low? Was thinking about trying out the other dual coil 1.5 ohm ones i have ordered first to get a feel... I'd really like to swap the other black one for this one if all is equal except fit up..
