Well I got my new E-Cig yesterday and I charged up the batteries. In the meantime I cleaned out the juice in the cartriges 'cuz I wanted to start using the juice from JC (Original Tobacco and Sweet Strawberry) right away. I was expecting more vapor... But I am not complaining. The flavor is definately different, but better than the burning tobacco in analogs. I am still trying to figure out a good technique, and one puff left me coughing for 5 minutes (My 17 year old son thought it was funny as hell) I started out using the short battery and was very surprised that it lasted about 6 hours (I was using it the whole time, if they would have been analogs I would say I smoked a whole pack). I am a pretty heavy smoker and I smoke like a West Texas grass fire, so I am very happy with the short battery. Makes me wonder how long the long one will last. I can't wait until PS gets more stuff in. I would like to keep an extra atomizer in my case. Overall I am happy with this rig and with the folks over at Puresmoker. I hope my wife likes hers.:)

The PeeWee is a RN4081...It produces good vapor for its size...Battery life is fairly short, a few hours, however some batteries seem to last longer than others...

I would get a passthrough...That will solve many of the battery issues...

Also, it has very small carts, so be prepared to drip. Dripping works great with this model...

Dang i just bought a peewee and i suppose i will get it monday or tuesday and i heard the battery life sucks i just was hoping you could tell me if it would last me 9to 5 :/ trying to give up analogs you know but if it cant last 9 to 5 thats not going to happen till i can buy extra battery's

My advice is get a second kit and a couple more atomizers.
then you can put together 4 complete ones and also buy some juice to refill them.
i have 3 pilot kits so i never worry about a battery running out.
3 or 4 fully charged batteries is a good way to make sure you never run out when your out at work or anywhere else.

it doesnt matter which one anyone has because even if someone has a bigger battery like the bada bing and it runs out its not going to help unless they have backups charged and with them...

The overpriced smokinganywhere 808 is deteriorating, so although I managed to destroy the short Pilot battery, it's now my primary and after a bit of a soak in lime juice it's performing way better. Really tasted terrible when I first got it, whatever they treat the atomizer with is nasty and sticks around a long ol' time.

Help my post count, Obi Wan... You're my only hope

For fear of starting another "noob with a pilot" thread, I'm hijacking this one for a minute.

Since PS was out of juice, I ordered the JC sample pack and it came yesterday. I cleaned out a cart according to igetcha's video, put six drops into the cart, stuffed the filling in, and added two more drops. I pushed the cart back down with tweezers.

Then it felt like I was trying to suck ice cream through a straw. Took the cart back off, fluffed the filling a bit, pushed it back down, then stuck the paperclip through the "suck hole" and pushed the cart up a tiny bit. It was much easier to hit, but then I got juice in my mouth.

Now it's acting like it's empty again, but I haven't used it that much and don't see how it can be dry already.

What the heck am I doing wrong?

I was all excited to use this thing at work today, but it's not producing any vapor at all.

As a PROUD Pilot owner, I can say this: Carts suck.

I use them OCCASIONALLY as emergency backups, but basically, the wicks they come with are atrocious. Get some polyfill (igetcha has a video on that, he uses the "batting" which comes in sheets instead of the great big puff - I prefer the puff, personally) and make new wicks out of it. Make the wick fill the entire cart. You will still get 8 drops in. It will work better.

However....

I've found it takes forever to "wick up" even with the new polyfill wick, so if you take 5 puffs, you need to let it "cool down" for 15 to 30 minutes before osmosis kicks in and gets that fluid moving. Personally, I just drip two or three on the metal atomizer wick and puff on that. I carry one of those little squeeze bottles from the JC 'Welcome to E-Smoking Kit' and carry 3.7mL of juice on me, and just top off when I need a few puffs, and puff 'er till she's almost dry. Get great big clouds, almost like a cigarette, and smooth, easy draws. One of those little bottles lasts me almost two days.

Hope that helps! :)

Oh yes - I use JC juice too.

JonHarm - I haven't tried dripping yet, but would like to. How long does last? Will I burn up two drops in one vaping session? I'm afraid of getting more nicotine than I already get from my Marb Light 100s. I don't want to create more of an addiction, know what I mean?

For the record, I've never smoked at work (but will be vaping there when people get on my nerves, lol!) and I only smoke at home in the garage, away from the kiddos. Usually I go through a half-pack of analogs a day, unless it's the weekend, then it's more like a pack.

Even though I haven't got the hang of vaping yet, I can already tell that analogs are starting to taste like crap. :)
