Another Take on the Puck!

I didn't want to hijack Johnny Bobcats thread (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/120576-my-take-puck.html)
So I thought I'd start another. It just must be the day for variations of the Puck!

And please excuse the messy job above the batteries. This is my fourth attempt with a box mod and my soldering skills aren't quite up to par yet. There was a bit of trial and error to see what switches would fit and where the LED would fit. I built one with 4AA's and got the LED to shine through the screw hole on the cover...didn't work so prettily on the 4AAA box.

If there's more than a couple people that'd like to know how I crammed all that in there, I'll build another with more detailed pics.

And another Kudo's to Puck for promoting the NiMh battery!

And now I have a 5 volt mod smaller than a 3AA battery box. It's a happy day!

Dude, Fantastic job on this box! I know how hard it is to cram all of that in there and you did it perfectly. This truely is the smallest box mod ever now

I'm glad to see another promoter of NiMh batteries. If more people would try them, they wouldn't need regulators, worry about protected/un-protected and can buy their batteries at a grocery store.
